What do you think about a charater-editor like this (link at the end)? Of course you cant change clothes and it would be not possible to do styles which are not realistic in this scenario. I might be wrong but other multiplayer-games have also physics, persistance items, weather effects and much more stuff (even on high populated server). To me it look like it's a problem specially related to the virtualreality-engine which they're using. Hopefully they will come to a point where they can handle all these problems otherwise, I have to say, they choose the wrong engine because Im pretty sure that current-gen-hardware can do really A LOT! Meanwhile I agree with you that there is a long way to go yet. -

Agree! Thought physics would be enabled and (basic-) cooking and hunting (with maybe only one or two animals) would be in when they announced to push the patch to friday. Also the great jump between .37 and .42 suggested a bigger change. -
I dont know the Mod so could anybody explain to me what "Utes" is? An Island which is highly desirable to reach?

I think there will be quite a lot of optimization be done in the future but, honestly I think it will always be a hardwarekiller while other games (with better graphics) are not.

Gosh guys! It will be online when its ready to be online! Like all of you I really like to see a new patch with new content but it just wouldnt make things better to release a not finished patched before weekend where nobody can fix anything. Dont you agree? Cry about the Devs also wont increase their speed. Its done when its done -

According to Mr. Hall it will be tested for "a few weaks" beside i dont see the "big changes".... Think Wednesday will air another experimentalpatch and they will go to stable bundled next or the following week -

I think adding new things to the map shouldnt be any problem. That are just new models they might have been put in. Also new Items arent that hard to implement IMHO. The functionally of them is the thing which is the hardest part to get in line. But there arent many new functiones in. They obviously have a good plan (at least I hope so) but I really watining impatiently for some bigger content updates ;) -

Wondering about the Rocket-post where he said "this patch is very experimental so it wont go stable for some weaks".... Actually i noticed not that much new (beside the wet and dry status). Might they have implemented "cold" while not "unlocked" it? Otherwise I cant recognize what shall be the big changes compared to earlier patches
