I have a Bug with my Action-Menu (The Items in the Quickbar). When i have a consumable item in it and i use it is still shown there but without the texture on it. When i want to replace it by another item the new Item simply disappears. Example: Drink in Slot 1. You consume it. After that, it still is shown in Slot 1 but without texture (just a white can). When you drag and drop a new item (for example a gun in my case) at Slot 1 it just vanishes :( -

Did they tweak the overall-performance? I think i get more frames. Even at the cities. Couldnt test it out proper because I get a lot of "cant receive messages from host"-kicks :( -

There is sooo much stuff to do! Agree with that. Beside that, i am enjoying to be part of the progress. Im pretty sure there will be more maps AFTER release and also a reworked Chernarus-Map with more details and features to explore just before official release to keep the tension up! Really looking forward what they will fix and implemt with next patch! Think the next 2 or 3 month will bring a lot of stuff!!! -

Anybody knows when to expect the next patch to go out? -
Agree. Some weapons are only to find at Military spawns. This of course make sense and so would do also when you might find some drink in the fridge and trousers beside the bed and so on.
-
When its done, i think, there will be most likely more maps and mods which Features some of the things you meant. I really like the wolfpack and the weather/storm idea. But I am not sure about the 'Events' like crashing train or plane. Would be cool somehow but it might has to much effect on regular gameplay if player waiting for this to happen.

Killcount wouldnt go well with the basic idea of surviving but i'd like to see at least some stats like 'days survived', 'kilometres / miles runned', 'animals hunted' and so on. But nothing what encourage People to kill
-
I like this idea. What about letting you know by Sound? If the person is really weak you very slow heartbeatsound
-
Totally agree! I would add also that this is only available in certain areas to avoid things like 'i've been trapped at the airfield. Come on friends. Join in and help me out! ' I also would reduce it to only two players that can join tötete (and only at respawning)

Pretty sure that this will be featured. You can already split rags so why dont go the other way?!

Hello Folks, I dont know if it has been discussed already but i want to speak about the day-and-night-circle. As far is i know the daytime ingame is based upon the server time is basically identical to currenttime from the server. In my opinion this isnt the best idea. when i want to play a little i usually do this in the evening. So, in my case, I would have to play always in the dark as long as i stay at a foreign server. I am honest. I dont like playing in the dark that much. I think DayZ looks great, espacially at daytime, and i want to enjoy it! My Solution-Idea: A day-and-night-circle based on 2.5 or 3.5 houres for day and night each. This would allow you, in case you play the same time on the next day, to play one day at daytime and one day at nighttime. What do you think about it?

Hey Folks, I saw a lot of crying about the last patch in the forum ("Why did they add this and not fixing that" and so on) I felt like I wanna suggest something for the future ones. At first: Let them develope it the way they like it. Its their game and they know how to work and how to proceed. But, the best way to develope with community, would be, to satify the community. So, Mr. Rocket, in my opinion it would be very nice if there is a new "stable"-patch once or twice a month (exept for any hotfixes). So everyone would know when patchday is and then there might is the change they crave for or not but they know it might be in the next which will follow two weeks (or four) later (and so on and on and on...). Overall, an update on when to expect which fix and which content would be very desirable!! :) What do you think? :beans:

Best way would be to go with beta-patch till maybe once monthly a "big" Stable-Patch goes out. Should give them really much time for testing. They might start with a beta-patch at the beginning of the month which includes many stuff. They fix, lets say, every week more and more of the problems caused due to new content and fixes in ongoing beta-patches untill the release at the end of the month a full new stable-patch with everything they have managed to finish till then. How about that?
-
But i dont wanna play on a 24/7 Day-Server. The point is, due to job, I only have a small timeframe to game and i want to enjoy day AND night WITHOUT serverhopping. Thats basically the idea.
-
Dont get me wrong. I was just thinking regulary updates will keep the players more satisfied and more patient with the developing-process.
-
I would definitly enjoy that! Brings in more variaty and could make the fight against the Zombies more interesting. How about shouting a little Zombie-child? Hard stuff but it would go very well with the "realistic" aspect. However, it would cause a lot more work to do for the team. More models to made, other AI for the different "types" and so on. I really hope they're consider it.

My DayZ just updated to Version "114557" ... but no suitable server yet :-( What is going on there?
-
Suggestion for future patches (not about items or features, plz read)

I like the idea of getting surprised by things to find i didnt expected. But, as some of my pre-poster said, it's not the purpose of a alpha! Its about testing everything new to the core. If you dont want to see whats new just dont read the patchnotes. A little compromise would be that you only see what has been fixed and the new features are shown with a "spoiler-attachment"! -

I dont know why some people are not happy with the patchnotes. You have to know that this is alpha (but i better condition i have expected it). We should let them develop it they way they like it. I think, its good like they are doing it. Alpha is mainly for integrating most features and fixing some really minor bugs and glitches. Server Issues and balancing, performance-adjustments and polishing is the beta-part. Correct me if im wrong!! Some cool features are needed the most. I think it could bring people a little bit away from the PvP-Aspect which is toooo big at the moment
