I didn't include this because it would scare the people who don't like reading walls of text, imagine claiming a town, when dayz is in full release, and you walled the whole place up, have a small area where everyone sleeps, food rations somewhere, you created a government, a man walks through the gates saying he's friendly, goes into the center of town, pulls out his revolver, shoots a few civilians, chaos ensues immediately, officers shooting, spraying bullets at the bodies that lay on the ground, this would be ridiculous, and this would also save us a lot of time from people who just refuse to take all their gear off so we could check it for hidden weapons, I swear, I've asked like 15 people so far, none have done it, maybe 1, but he didn't have a lot of gear anyhow.

that would be awesome. id also like to see the namalsk map be added, with the snow all around the middle of the map, so unless you have warm cloths of a vehicle, you have to go around the snow mountain

stop complaining :P is this the first time you were reset with gear? cuz it happens like every few days to me if I have gear. I counted atleast 15-20 resets

so me and my group were sat on top of the rock at kamishovo, we were dropping little care packages and seeing the noobies with a surprised face, then go on their mary way, to an adventure, with a new helpful box of drink and bean, all organized and such. (by the way these weren't ordinary drinks, THEY WERE PIPSI) so we had 3 guys, me being the organizer of the team, i was fairly important to the mission. We saw a man clad in camo, with a little ear flap hat, giant green backpack brimming with items stuffed, and ripping at its edges, with his axe our, i started running right beside him, be didn't even notice me, i got closer, about 10 meters from him and said "hey dude, hows it going? can you not put your gun out please?" The man with the 50 ton backpack said "heeyyYYyYYYy DuuuuDE!" and put his axe away, it seemed like he knew not to take his gun out, until he took his gun out, i loaded him with 10 bullets, he put one shot into me, and everything went black.'you are dead' i ran back to all my friends dead, 3 guys were there, i said "yo guys why'd you kill us?" they reply with "YO YO YO FRIENDLY FRIENDLY FRIENDLY" to the man with the black T and green jeans (me).I said with a laugh,"bullshit, you just killed 3 people", they follow up with a stupid remark, "ok, ok, lets kill his guy for being judgmental, the shots sprayed, sliding through a few parts of my body, they couldn't hit a moving target that well. I spat out "at least give me a reason for killing me, your buddy made a dumb mistake, he PULLED HIS GUN OUT TO A GUY WITH A GUN WHO TOLD HIM NOT TO". They stopped firing almost immediately. They told me to explain, they say "well you were gonna steal my stuff you bandit" with some extra adrenaline running through my system i couldn't talk. i said "well i was stopping people and helping them on the coast" soon after i was shot dead. misunderstanding? or a KoSr's with a kill on their doorstep?

that's a good point, but its kind of dumb that he pulled his gun out to a guy with a gun pointed at him, my gun was laid at my side, in my arms though. in the end if I hadn't had my gun out hed kill me, and hed have me dead, and my sniper would have to get him, but ya, dayz

I've dressed friendly before, I got into a common sniping position (bad idea) and sat basicly being overwatch for a town, took 5 minutes I was shot deadby a mosin sniper thing is, the friend suit risks your life, your less protected by a ballistic helm if you go for a beret, and the mask, almost no matter what, makes you look cool :p

happened to me, I say you just take the stuff, and hide the corpse so no one 8 minutes later comes over and you notice all the food you just got is gone.

well in real life it works, but you have to be doing like a running punch, and the person has to not like "shrink their face" to protect from the punch, and take the full hit, and plus it doesn't always work.

are you telling me , OP, that with friends you use the direct chat? or do you play "none cheaty" I get it its kind of weird, but everyone has the power of telepathy, only thing is you cant whiser like in IRL, so if I whisper everyone will hear me from 2 houses away. also the experience is a little bit crap if your relying on the direct chat, it would make for way better combat, being careful for the opponent to not hear you from 2 houses down, but then again, irl in a situation like that id whisper the plan to my friend, and we'd go. I use it more for when in combat, that's the most important time for it, but it is a double edged sword, the enemy could use it, and you could too.

the chairs are fixed now, castles are now easy to enter (atleast devils) and I found an m4a1 in it with damages add ons

the man a few messages above me is right, should be some sort of way to score how good you are, even if theres a tab counting how many people you bandage/ met within 10 yards of and didn't kill each other.

k, you seem to be a walking dead fan, let e put it in perspective, rick is just standing around, with nothing, would governor kill him? no, he hasn't got anything. governor sees rick in a prison, that's enough reason for the governor to risk war with him. so I don't like KoS when there's no reason behind it, or ignorant people shooting at people with no gear. although, I feel your opinion is like just as valid, who wants to play a game and feel safe when there's like, an apocalypse? who likes running through a city without a risk? who likes being shot without being given a chance to do anything about it? I guess there's some center ground, I shoot people when they don't listen, when they do odd movements, when they don't talk, when they pull out fists and run at me. but usually ill hold back until I know there's immediate danger, ill usually, when given the chance, ask "why are you shooting at me?" or "if you think I'm a bandit I'm not, please stop shooting or you risk your own life as well as the others around you" id like a more theme based ending "I died because I was hurting people" rather then " I died because I was walking through a small town and someone axed me in the skull" I don't know, that's just me, I think people who deserve death should get it, then again... The good die young.

option 2 i think, a goal should basicly "be like the mod" but with slightly less military crazy weapons and more survival-y weapons

if you want zombies to be more dangerous, how bout every time they attack you it ruins all your cloths, and after that youll get infected, die , and become a zombie. faster zombies will make me so pissed off, UNLESS you can lock yourself inside a house, and sneak out the back, which will need a better AI, so basicly you could outsmart them by jumping fences or something, OR walking dead style zombies, slow, but their numbers are waaaay bigger. or fewered, and waaaaay faster.

ya, but we didn't pay 30$ for YOU to entertain YOURSELF by exploiting the game and ruining it for the rest of the community, for every think on that list I see theres a consequence usually, 1:killing new spawns: probably first time playing, traumatize them, make them never trust people again, always scared of people, even people who try to help them 2:KoS this is a game of survival, not fucking "give nobody a chance to do anything" at least talk to the dude if your going to kill him, maybe you'll have a change of heart if you know they have a voice. 3:"bunny hopping" or server hopping, I only do this is something is completely looted, I don't consider this being an asshole, its only fair, I'm not waiting 4 hours for a server restart. 4:glitching: by this do you mean shooting someone through a wall or something? because that's just not being fair, again exploitation, would you enjoy getting the game, then having some immature kid shoot you through a wall, its basically hacking, your BASICLY invisible if you think about it. hacking if put into like any other context "i shoot through walls" sounds hacky, but "I shoot through walls because I can exploit" isn't? 5:combat logging: ok so your up for doing all this shit to people what do you do when your backed into a corner? when YOUR the one shot at? log. next patch, or next patch after this it apparently is going to be fixed, so get it all done while you can, you'll soon be dyeing every time your in a sticky situation. I suggest you play the game fair, think of others at least a little bit, the golden rule in life is , don't do something to someone what you wouldn't like done to yourself. and here's the thing, you say you payed 30 $ for entertainment, we did too, and entertainment is having a fair game, winning, and losing both being possibilities.

so I've been looking at all these maps, and I've been a fan of dayz for a while, though I've only played dayz standalone, so I'm interested, WHATS YOUR FAVORITE DAYZ MAP? I've been looking at Namalsk, and that looks like one of the coolest maps, little "bridges" of land to set up a toll booth in and out, an its an ISLAND that's badass.it also looks sort of like an old industrial island, that eventually went kind of broke, then the apocalypse happened, with all the poor citizens getting sick and such, but I don't know if there's a backstory to it. -SIDE NOTE I'm kind of a writer right now, writing short stories for dayz, I take submissions of any character Bios and if their interesting ill accept them, and create a short story out of your character/experience. so where on these forums should I write these stories because I don't think I see a story section :( ty for the help guys

I was thinking of making a "experimental series" like ill go dressed as a noobie on the coast, run around, meet other noobies, and see (socially) how they act, I already did this but the recording had like this annoying buzzzzzz sound, I had like 50 subjects :( I was pissed
