I saw a bright orange boonie you could wear.

I'm playing on a 2.6 ghz processor. Yes my frame rates are less than desirable, but the game is still playable.

I had not seen the .22 mag, but managed to get the rifle and a few boxes of ammo. It was taking 2-3 headshots to get a zombie down. If you were lucky the first shot would knock the zombie down giving you time to reload... but this didn't always happen. <fire shot> <open inventory> <drag ammo to gun> <run> <wait for reload animation> <repeat><repeat><repeat> just to get one zombie down. If i don't find a .22 magazine, I will most likely pass on picking this gun up. At least until hunting is implemented. On the plus side, It's a very quiet gun. :)

One word: hunting. Revolvers for players. Shotguns for small game and animals. I imagine there will be slugs added to the game at some point making the shotgun more versatile.

I was also unsuccessful at locating any, which was unfortunate. The server I played was so well looted that I couldn't even find one sharp object to open the lone can of food I found. I kept hoping I'd at least stumble upon some berries before I starved to death. No such luck.

Not sure if this would help or not... have you tried adjusting your 'field of view' in the settings? It essentially zooms the camera in and out slightly.

The servers are full. Keep trying. This probably means someone else beat you to a free slot. You're not likely to get into servers during peak hours without constantly spamming the server with join attempts for a very long time. Have patience or revert to the stable version.
