Instead of spawning on the coast

Or perhaps killing people is what gives them entertainment and enjoyment in the game?

Take the league of legends approach.

Agreed, I wouldn't want it to take away from actual productive work, but I don't imagine it would. Thanks for the feedback.
  3. First let me start by saying, thank you for giving us patch notes, and letting us know what will be coming in the latest patches. Let me follow by saying I think it would be great, if you mimic the approach that the Riot team took to explain their patches. My suggestion is simple, could we please :) Have a video come out with each patch note, that gives us insight as to What changes we will be experiencing in the newest patch, Why you are making certain changes, What you intend to accomplish by making these changes, and the direction your team plans to take over the next couple patches. A simple video of maybe 5-8 minutes in length (or whatever length you want) that just gives us some insight as to what is going on. I feel like it will be beneficial in a number of ways. -It will allow us to physically see and hear from some of the programmers/team members that are working on the game, which can kind of give us a better connection and family feel with the developers. ( a small, but, i think nice benefit.) -It will allow us to understand the reasoning behind such changes (which I feel is very important) -It will also allow us get a feel for whats going to happen in the future. This is all about creating a better "Dev Team to community interaction", and helping the community learn more about the game and the direction of the game. It works great for league of legends, and I remember being excited to watch the videos, and becoming excited to play the new patch. I only see benefits from doing something like this. (Other then the time it would take to actually create the video/edit/post it , which honestly couldn't take that long could it? Anyways, Hope you guys like the suggestion Take care -waLsh
  4. I remember when league of legends was like this (to a degree). It had so many bugs, and server issues, and downtime. The game finally did pull through though , and delivered what it was meant to deliver. I hope dayz is like that, and it's just a matter of time before things start to just come together.
  5. Agreed with op 100% as well, and for the love of god pleaseeeee please fix the collision issues, so many issues with zombies running through walls, players glitching through walls on purpose, bullets hitting imaginary surfaces when fighting on hills, inability (or almost inability) to melee attack a person or zombie when inside a house or thin hallway. The game is coming along but there's so many MAJOR issues which need to be addressed (IMO) , and are more important then say, adding spray paint cans to the game, or adding in a new hat. Also the fact that I play for 2 mins, get "Session lost" and have to wait 5 mins to join a server again, only to get kicked for session lost another 3-4 times with 5 minute waits in between every server join attempt... meh I love the game so much, i've had the MOST fun in this game compared to any other game, and the MOST frustration compared to any other game. In my honest opinion , this game has real potential to be one of the best games ever, but so much work needs to be done its unreal. I just hope that I actually do see the day, where this game plays the way that it should. Can you imagine playing dayz, with like 90% of the bugs gone? And the game reacting properly and quickly when you try to do something? Having firefights without glitchy bullshit going on? This game could truly be ridiculously good, and I hope it gets there.
  6. It was a dry dark night, as my friend and I were travelling from kambi to electro. We were sharing stories of women and mead when we suddenly heard zombies attacking someone in the near distance. We get closer, unsure as to what we will see. Closer.. closer and I spot a zombie attacking a fresh spawn, and the man with all his heart and soul boxing the zombie, trying to survive. I tell my friend to hang back as I pull out my m4 equipped with an ACOG scope. I aim at the head of the player, line up my sights, and THEN BOOOM i quickly switch to the zombie and 1 shot the zombie in the face. We approach the player whom which we had just saved. I immediatly begin to bandage the wounded man, feed him some drink and food. My partner and I, feeling good about saving the man , say a few nice things before we decide to depart. As we start to leave, the man takes his flashlight out, and begins to follow us, shining his light on us. We did not want to be spotted on the way to electro, so we asked the man to please stop, turn his light off and go back the other way... He does not. He continues to follow us around shining the flashlight on us, despite multiple warnings. I gave the man 3 "one last warnings" , felt my blood begin to boil, and my senses heightened. I feel the cold black steel of the gun against my face as I line up the sights. One last warning issued.. ignored. I grip the gun tightly, fire 4-5 shots from the mans torso up towards his neck and face area. This man.. that we had saved.. and tried to help, has now been executed, and put to sleep due to his own irresponsible actions. I approached his body, ready to bury the man.. Noticed he had my favorite brand of Canned beans. Ate it, threw the can on his body, and left for electro.. Moral of the story, a dumbass fresh spawn is sometimes worth a tin of food :D
