    I think people are confusing realism with authenticity. If you have to eat, have to drink, have to maintain temperature and have to watch out for players, otherwise, you're screwed, it wouldn't be authentic to add a fluffy pink unicorn in the wild for hunting. (Bad example. but you get what I mean)

    Now now folks. If you guys want to create a 'we hate rocket' Facebook page then you can go ahead and do that. He's clearly said that they did not achieve what was desired as it said 'Right, you killed a few dudes, we're going to force you to wear a bandit skin' which you could say went against, not forcing you down a certain path and giving yourself freedom.

    I remember things like this happening in the early-mid parts of the game where clans camped out at Devil's Castle (Or Rock? Can't remember) and other clans would try to attack it and take it for themselves. It was pretty cool as basically, it was like a medieval siege where only occasional shots were being fired. Pretty cool stuff. Like Fraggle, said, this will be implemented by us, the players.

    I'm not talking about realism here, I'm talking about the fact that you HAVE to eat. Can't find a can of beans? Sorry. You're dead. Get attacked by an infected? There's a chance that your leg can all but break, making you immobile. Would this brutal and unforgiving theme fit in to a mechanic which comforts the survivor. Don't worry, there is no chance that this guy is just going to turn dickhead and shoot you in the back.

    Neither do I. That was stupid. Put it this way: If has features such as hunger, temperature, thirst, blood, bleeding, pain, broken legs, would it be OK to have a feature where it's impossible to be shot by a player?

    Like I said, the amount of people who think they know exactly what direction this game needs to take and believe that they are better than Rocket makes me laugh. It really does. As for it being in alpha, it certainly is. Core functionalities and features are down. Zombies. Water. Food. Weapons. Tools. Loot. Hive servers. Players. All of these are in the game and are more or less stable.

    It's a cool idea, but does it fit with the theme of the mod? Not being able to shoot someone doesn't tie in with the whole realism survival aspect. What if I want to change my mind and betray the person who I teamed up with? (which happens a lot :P)

    If a pilot passes out then the chopper isn't going to stay airborne. Think of it that way :P Edit: Though I do agree, it is kinda annoying.

    Sorry mate, we're not picking anything apart here, we are simply stating the facts. This is a duplicate thread. We have seen something like this multiple times. It is an issue that rocket is aware of. It will be impossible to eradicate completely.
