Alright guys, since I find myself possibly spamming the forums, I thought I'd simply make a lone topic where I'll edit/update each time I post a new video. Like this, people can follow the thread and simply see when any more updates come in! Also allows for greater discussion space between me and any of you guys since the topics won't be scattered about here! So I'll have all the vids from the Berezino Police Squad 3 onwards posted here with oldest at the bottom! It's been a while but here's a new one! I've just had so many games but so little time that I find it hard to play nowadays but I still try to get good stuff! I actually just remembered I had 1 more episode to do so hopefully you'll see that coming up soon enough! 'till then, enjoy this short! It's been a bit, I'll admit, though DayZ is a hard game to get footage out of! Though I did have some interesting encounters for you lot that'll be up soon enough, take this one, for instance. After a busy week, I finally managed to squeeze in the time to do this baby! The freshies squad series has sadly, come to a close. Also new icon! Should I keep it just like this and leave the title out of it or should I add it in? I left it out primarily to reduce word-clutter really. A new video with some action and a few freshies with some humour and wild antics going on! How will things unfold with these crazy folks? I got a new mic! Here's my first vid with it, alongside with being requested to collaborate with a gaming group :D here's where tactics, along with a trusty friend can help you in a situation where you have the disadvantage! It seemed like the world of DayZ had to balance it's self out, after meeting one friendly, had to meet another with less-than-stellar intentions towards the two of us. See what happens next! Turns out while doing commentary, listening to yourself and your own advice is generally a good idea! Next part of the series is up! It took me a while but I did improve on the sound quality (just a bit) but man I can't wait for the new mic to get in! Oh man that's gonna be awesome~Anyhow, enjoy the latest part as the antics slowly come to a close and the Berezino Police Squad goes out to try and prove it's name!

Been ages but I finally got a new one up! Enjoy :3

So guys, ever since the implementation of the crossbow, I've avoided it as if it was satan's baby. But one fine day I gave it a try and did indeed find out why I avoided it like satan's baby. After landing 2 direct shots (supposedly) on a geared dude and nada, nothing. One was at approx 20~30 meters and another was at about 20~ish meters. I didn't see any damage to him and I'm pretty certain they both hit. Now I've fired a bow'n arrow IRL a few times, so here I'm thinking a crossbow would be more accurate (horizontally loaded and held still) and way more powerful than the bow I used, so how come it's so crap? While most of the other guns got some attention, I feel as if the crossbow/sporter have been ignored, both of which are guns I'd surely enjoy using more...if they were usable.

If you have a mosin then normally a magnum or sawn-off shotty is what I'd go for. Probably the shotty over the magnum because I think it's still pretty effective at almost relative ranges as the magnum is accurate. It's neigh impossible to hit past 30M with the magnum safely, unless the weapon balance affected the pistols too...I should test the groupings actually to see if they've improved the pistols too. I'll make a vid when I find a magnum next and take a look.
-
Sawn off shottie is good for building clearing, pistol (magnum) doesn't need magazines and is probably the best one of the lot, pistol (others) require a magazine that take up extra slots. So for your playstyle I'd say Magnum (4 slots squared, easiest placement) Sawn off (4 slots line, doesn't fit in courier backpack) Other pistols (4 slots squared + time to find appropriate magazines + slots for magazines)

Which one was that xD ? Also sorry for the belated reply! Edit: New one up!

Why are "Payday"-masks military loot?

Weren't they removed? -
Ahahaha, I was thinking of holding it up in Olsha since that's the most 'middle' place between cherno/elektro and novo/svet. Though if there actually is anyone helping to protect us that you could arrange, what kind of >.> <.< 'compensation' would you like?

Seasons in DayZ (+question for a dev [map related])
hiniberus replied to GhostDivision (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
It's a great idea and dean (kinda) wants to do it. Though 1) Wait for the new engine 2) That just about triples their work (balancing/bugfixes/vehical physics etc) -
Wednesday = Maintenance day (3+ hours) = servers down

Title says it all, honestly. Can this be stickied/pinned or saved to be put up automatically on Tuesday evening? The topics of people complaining they can't play is silly. -
I edited his quote and made a joke out of it ._.

No worries buddy! I don't think this is the wrong section; anyhow. You ought to get yourself some pretty stable frames on that, since DayZ is hardly optimized at the moment, you'll have a boost easily of about 20+ frames for the most part on average, if not 60+ I got an i5-2500k and I manage most things on medium with a 560TI SLI without much issue.

Dear I say, that's going a bit too far? :v

Hey guys, as a fellow youtuber I know it's pretty hard to get much, if any, love from the community. Most don't want to watch us play a game that they already have unless there's really something different about our experiences and theirs (this is harder for streamers I'd say). So I was thinking, why don't we try to interact with the community more? Try to arrange meetups so if there are several youtubers/streamers at a few locations it'll make things interesting and get the general community to meet up, along with giving the lesser-known youtubers and streamers some possible coverage? Edit: While this is Gallery related, I was hoping to keep this topic in GD to try and reach out to the general folks!

How can the community help youtubers/streamers?
hiniberus replied to hiniberus's topic in General Discussion
True, though at no point did I intend on begging/asking for views and subs. The whole point of this topic was to see how to get general youtubers and streamers more notice outside of those whom already are very well known. I'm a supporter of the underdogs! Asking what people want is something I did make a topic out of, yet that was before I started to see what would get people's attention. It was just an analysis to see what would captivate people the most c: I don't have the viewerbase, skill or time to stay fabricating plays in this game haha! Oh dear! You will anger the Forum mods :P -
Lucky axe hit to OHKO him man! Good video deserves a thumbs up and the intro was interesting, if a touch long.
-
Dean's said it before, modding will be available after the new engine is implemented.

Will we ever be able to sneak up on someone and take stuff from their backpack?
hiniberus replied to Xenolian's topic in General Discussion
That'd be something to be pretty paranoid about. I'd love to do that to a sniper, though you could also use handcuffs ;) -
Fuck, I'm getting hungry now ._.

How can the community help youtubers/streamers?
hiniberus replied to hiniberus's topic in General Discussion
You're indeed correct, my friend. There is no reason to help them out, which is fair! Granted, outside of good will or anything. I'm not sure what 'posit' means, though the main thing I was hoping to gain from this is to get more youtuber/streamers also in the conversation to see if they would share any thoughts or ideas. I guess I may have come off as wording this perhaps in a way somewhat worse than others may look at it but that's my mistake entirely. By no means did I wish to 'fabricate' any events, if a meetup was to happen, I think that'd be nice! Though obviously that would have to be arranged, unless with a small crew for a cinimatic style video, I do agree entirely that a fabricated event would be hard to pull of and/or most likely fail. I could agree, somewhat. Am I doing this for the money? Well, no. Would it be nice though, to receive any for the investment I put into the additional equipment to get this setup working. So I hope I don't fall into the category that you dislike. I do, however do this primarily as a hobby and something I'm actually building a love for! I do agree with the little shits and women with 1/2 cleavage showing being picked off, good job to ya buddy! True, I suppose that could be answered somewhat though; 1) Could show people etiquette? Like, if two people meet up at random, hopefully people could follow the youtuber's example of raising up a hand and wiggle/waving instead of raising a gun to KoS. While some call this a 'legitimate' playstyle, it's something that's somewhat disagreeable with me and I actually hate doing it most of the time. Though I figured that's how the game works so I just do what I gotta do to not be another victim. If on the other hand it was a legitimate bandit holdup, that's also something I can agree with. If someone tries to do a proper hold up but the other takes out their gun then it would still be a holdup, just one gone wrong rather than a KoS situation. I think, people would be way more intense and paranoid about meeting others if proper banditry was generally performed, rather than KoS. Instead of being killed instantly, they'd figure a way to gain your trust before holding you up. Now that's some quality time in this game I'd not only upload, but damn well remember for a while, rather than just walk about and have some dude camp me out with "You are dead" appearing a few agonizing moments later. 2) I think when it comes to the money, there have been quite a few successful youtubers (Goldie, Mark, Pewds are the main three who come to mind) so that now everyone who tries to do it, wants to become the 'next' thing after them. Though they all had one thing in common, they did it for fun. They just got big because people liked them, simple! Though it had taken them years to get there. There are some that just want to do this for a quick buck, which is true! Though their dreams may easily get crushed by seeing just how arduous a task it is to actually make money, let alone a living off of youtube. It's quite sad that the general opinion has turned so sour, though for anyone working 9-5 job and not being too happy with it, then seeing people easily earn quad-triple their monthly pay just for doing videos, I can understand it really. I'm doing this for fun, as I had done so in my reply to one of the above posts, if money happens to come along. Whoop-dee-doo. Though I'm not expecting anything, any time soon. I make these videos because it's fun to do so and I wanted to see what could be done, indeed to give myself more exposure but also to look into the general public's opinions, be them negative or positive! -
How can the community help youtubers/streamers?
hiniberus replied to hiniberus's topic in General Discussion
'unno, normally it seems like he locks topics pretty reasonably! At least, from what I've seen. That would indeed be a good idea! Haha, it was bordering on shutting down the topic so I wouldn't call that quite 'free'. I'm lucky that he didn't lock the topic and allowed me to explain myself :3 I'll be sure to try and let you know somehow, follow me on fb/youtube/twitter and I'll most surely give a shoutout to a meetup for those who want to join :3 -

If you keep on reading, we discussed it. That's an idea, if I run into something I'll let them know that's something we could do! -
Oh wow man, that really means a fair bit to me! Much appreciated and hope you have a lovely day :3
