Yeah, the engine seems like the intel/nvidia more and it really just seems to be luck of the draw. Some people run it great on a mid end PC others with maybe just a different motherboard have issues. It's just not even close to being optimized yet.

IS it anywhere specific like the high rise areas around Cherno? Or is it just any city you enter? whats your PC specs?

On regular looking for some stripper clips. I have a flash bang for trade would take 2 strippers for it. I can usually find stuff if there's something specific you're looking for for a few clips!

I play other games but I always come back to DayZ. I tried playing ArcheAge, couldn't get into it. Nothings the same now that I've played this :(

2 patches is a long time? :P I have not noticed a decrease in FPS anywhere.

I don't believe weight has any effect currently on speed or hunger/thirst. The only thing carrying more effects is damage you receive. More stuff in the item being hit = more damage.

I'm pretty sure the Devs have said "you aren't playing DayZ SA, you're playing builds of what will become DayZ SA" so no, you did not purchase a finished product or something that claimed to be anything but and unfinished buggy project that is loads of fun to mess around in. As someone who has been playing the SA since very early January, I am VERY pleased with the progress made in the last few months. They have really stepped things up. We're now getting detailed weekly reports on whats going. New stuff is being implemented pretty quickly and things are just picking up pace in general. A lot of the horrible bugs from early on are gone, you are no longer being thrown off buildings or sucked through walls 3 floors up. I've had much better luck with ladders and stairs. and I can actually walk though the high rise areas of Cherno now without my PC dying. Although that could be do to some upgrades I've made in the last 6 months but, I wouldn't think moving from a Core 2 quad to a i3 would really give me 20+ FPS in there.

In my opinion, it's the best part of DayZ. I've never played another game that gave me the adrenaline rush and sweats that this game gives me at times. With the hand shaking as others have said, it just takes time and experience in knowing what you're good at be it fighting, fleeing or whatever suits your boat.

I don't see it happening in a game like this but it would be funny to have some Halloween stuffs about for a week or two.

They do. Or at least they talked about people having heart attacks in game several patches ago.

I haven't seen a press vest in months, or a stab vest. Have yet to find a tent. Otherwise I think I've found at least one of everything at some point. I have a flashbang on my 3rd person guy and grenade on 1st person. found 3 or 4 longhorns in one day. Got a combat knife and Black Skull mask the other day.

Back when my PC was in the living room I use to have trouble using mics. There would always be people over watching TV and my roommate had his PC in the living room too. Just way too much background noise for the mic I had at the time.

I've never see it added back in. It had major clipping issues.

The only "hackers" I've run into were stripper clip dupers with 300+ round stripper clips. They can't aim though. I'm not saying there aren't any but, there aren't tons out there. And I'm not seeing as many dupers as before.

I have run into some servers that I was there when the server reset and when I went back in after the same items were in the same spots they were before the reset with very little new items added. I have seen far more servers with loot spawning like normal though. I believe it also could have been mainly hardcore servers I was running into those on. I can't remember as I played both a bunch today.

Watch some youtube videos they can be very helpful. As for servers. I try to find 3 or 4 servers I really like, favorite those and then stick to them. I only go looking for new servers if the ones I normally play on are having issues or do not have the population I am looking for.

For awhile half were 1pp and mostly empty with the other half 3pp servers full 24/7. It's no wonder they switched more of them to 3pp.

I play both. I like first person better for immersion obviously also pvp and looting. But while traveling I do like third person. I find myself opening my inventory a lot while running through the woods in 1st person servers.
