I've been playing Skyrim lately and when I jumped back onto DayZ I had to go with 1st person after doing so in Skyrim. Looting is so much easier in 1st person.

Nice! Now that I don't fall off buildings as much :p I too would love to see the scavenging part beinga bit more realistic. but hey, it's better than the mod was :p

dude the game is in Alpha and the entire engineis being reworked. You're not gonna find many people bothering to run it in 4k. Shit I can't even optinmize the setting in the Nvidia control center yet.

He isn't taking credit for the kills so I don't see a problem here. A few good shots in there :)

Chernarus is a made up country. Yes it's based on real areas but the country is not supposed to be in Ukraine I don't believe.

It just takes time and patience. soon you will know what houses are worth looting and all tat good stuff.

I avoid most player interaction for the fact that 50% of players will shoot you on sight, another 15% will tell you they're friendly then shoot you as soon as you're back is turned, another 10% or so will do the little here need ammo or food trick and shoot you as soon as you pick it up and then you're left with the last 25% who either hide in the woods and run from everyone or just get killed non stop because we don't shoot the first thing that moves. I can't wait for the new CoD to come out and take a good amount of PvP people and more survival elements to be added.

Yeah I second that Merrels are awesome. I love mine. Cow poop, mud, snow it doesn't matter they still last.

It's implemented in exp right now and it's crazy stupid. You need new shoes every 5 minutes. I literately needed around 5 pairs just to hike from elektro to Stary. Food, guns clothes are found easily enough. Shoes however are now a rare commodity. I'm sure it will be adjusted soon.

the whole reason there's no story or direction is because you're supposed to decide what to do and what will be fun for you.

While it is one of my favorite guns to shoot I'm just not really in favor of lots of American weaponry around. Things that would have been used to respond to the zombie outbreak are one thing but, I highly doubt there would be many M1 Carbines unless they made the case they were shipped in for police officers to use like a lot of pacific nations used to do.

I have yet to get a cooking pot ad propane set up to cook correctly. Just cook them on an open fire.
