I'd have to guess you'll find more things to do besides combat and therefore you'll find something you can feel confident in doing once they add more stuff to do. Not everyone is a fighter in the apocalypse either :p -

I just hear zeds grunting and chain link fences rattling all of the time. no soda cans or ammo reloading for me.

I saw a video with what i think was one guy in a group wearing one. I've heard they are able to be put onto people but I didn't think you could run around like normal with it on as he appeared to be doing.

I was in one of the barns with the entrance at both sides, went up the stairs to the top and crouched down while waiting for my friend to arrive. He got lost so I figured I'd go find him. Not thinking, I was in 3rd person and tried to go down the stairs. Bad choice. Missed the stairs fell about 5 feet to my death. Respawned and tried to get back to my body asap. My friend was in close proximity to it and was on his way to guard it while I ran. Then the server reset. afhaoukfhgkjflksdnflksanl;ksdfnksdmf I hate this game! but yeah I try and avoid ladders and am VERY careful on stairs now.

Game really hard on high-pop servers

people who kill on sight will be your biggest concern on most populated servers. So if you died of starving or water than you were doing good not being seen and shot. But yes, I think it's a known issue that things are pretty well picked over on populated servers. -
I just drink as much as possible and eat whenever I find stuff. I always carry one can of beans just in case. My character is currently healthy and I took damage from a zed recently and was in a shoot out with a koser who either had very bad aim or I was able to take some good damage without hurting much.

I love the "get a new ISP" everyone always yells about. Not all of us live in cities or areas with multiple ISPs to choose from. I have one choice for DSL and one choice for Cable. I have issues when loading in, my screen will go all crazy wiht lines all over it and I will have to go to my video setings to get it correct.

The only thing I'm very dependent on the airfield for is a M4. once there's sks's in the game I'll be looking for them over a M4 any day. And I'd think they'd be in the cities/towns. I've found a few shotties but have yet to use one. -
Nah, I'm not a KOSer but if I find someone knocked out with gear while I'm still nubbed up I will take it in a heartbeat.

Yes this happens sometimes but, you can also go a good while without even finding an axe even in under populated servers. It just seems very hit or miss at the moment. You can find 2 or 3 M4's in one building then not see another for hours. -
I'm a 74 fan, love the 5.45. anyways can't wait to see some AKs in the game :)

I've played on the same servers since I got the SA and have this issue, it's not server hopping causeing the issues. *faceplam* -

Mosin and an FNX45 is the way I go right now. However since I seem to be the scavenger and point man of the group I will be switching to a shotty when they're out. I may switch to a M4 in the meantime. -
I can't respawn more than I can. Although now that I'm geared up and a have 50+ hours under my belt I'm dying a lot less.

hair band on the 360 controller joystick works well for autorun.

I died about 5 minutes before a restart and my buddy was less than a minute from my body when the server reset last night. :( Oh well I've got better gear now!

haha that was an awesome story. I've helped a couple people with water or some medical supplies but for the most part I'm far too weary of being shot myself to stick around when I see anyone.
