I was a M4A1 fanboy until recently. I love the sks now. I didn't like how loud it was at first so I went back to the M4. but I'm sick of relying on military bases for parts and ammo so I've gone to the SKS and am loving it. I have 100+ ammo usually before I even find one or soon after finding one. PU scope is pretty easy to find. I do still prefer the FNX to the magnum.

Yes Rifty has thrown my out of walls before :( and the ATC at NEAF like to throw me off the top. so I don't go up on the ATCs and go VERY slow in rifty.

Stairs, walls, ladders and roofs for me. No rocks yet... I've been in one set of similar buildings one and died, got to my body died trying to get out again and then finally got my body a second time. Since then I refuse to go in these or any that look anything like them.

Yes it would be nice to know these things since there are people like myself who got the SA and wanted more so went to the mod. And now I see stuff like this and say wow did I just spend $25 on Arma 2 for the mod and its gonna die?

Yeah he's playing mod so SA stuff ain't gonna help :p

I guess this would be why I could not for the life of me see they guy that killed me the other day. I could see the bullets coming at me but no guy. seemed to be coming from the base of the ATC. Although, there's a good chance I'm just blind and suck ;)

I've had people in noob gear yell friendly ask for help then blast me the second I turned. Or guys hold me up and "rob" me when I'm in my undies only to be saved buy a group of 6 or 7 fully geared guys who were as nice as could be. Last night I had just been killed by those friendly assholes who shot me in the back and had run back to Berezino to look for them and ran into a full geared guy walking down the street. He drew his gun, and I stood there. He said "This is my town, the only rule is... No pants!" so I took my pants off and he gave me some ammo for my blaster I had just found :) I asked if he had seen my killers which sadly he hadn't :( He just warned me not to load my gun while near him and I was on my way. That guy took all the anger out of me after those to cowards killed me.

As others have pointed out, sometimes geared players are looking for something specific and don't bother with the zeds or other items.

I would be very happy to have some warning shots fired over my head instead of just being shot. A lot of times I seem to get killed at the air fields are they've been looted to all hell. Really you need to shoot me and ruin my stuff for maybe one mag in a building somehwhere here? also last night had some asshats says "friendly don't shoot us!" so I obliged and left the building only to be shot in the back as I went out the door.

I have around 160 hours logged and have killed 4 people. 2 babies who attacked me randomly, one guy with a bat who tried to kos me and then a guy who tried to kill me in a garage while I was playing inventory tetris. I've only been in a few shoot outs and usually end up getting shot through a window or killed by a buddy on accident lol

I just survive. I don't attack first but, If I felt the situation called for it, I would. I'm willing to help players out but do tend to shy away from much contact or long contacts. I don't travel with people I don't know. I do head to elektro if I'm bored to see if i can help out or kill any baddies :)

I know they are working on stuff hard but uh I think it would be nice to focus on buildings killing players and things like that before you worry about heartattacks and all that nonsense. Otherwise can't wait till this goes to stable. and all this M4A1 vs whatever talk. AK > all end of story.

I feel that with the amount of bugs currently in the SA the despawn on your dead body should be lowered. I've died WAY more times being sucked through a wall to fall to my death than by zombies and players combined. I just spent a couple hours getting my friend all geared up. even found him a press vest and long range scope. Showed him where rifty was. He logged for the night I figured I;d check around see if I could find him anything else for when we played next. got through the entire ship and wa going to make my way down when bam sucked through the wall and thrown out. I respawned asap and headed to rifty. I started at the three houses south of Solnichniy. I made it to Rifty in about 15 minutes and found my body. Couldn't take anything off it :( I know it would mess with people being actually killed and then being able to get their bodies but come on. I've died fully geared and run all the way to my body 3 times now this week to just get there and be able to stare at it and not take anything.

I know it's ten minutes, I've tried my best to get there within the 10 minutes. I have no probelm dying legit. I also understand this is an alpha, bugs and glitches happen. But, like I said, I've died more times being pulled through a wall than anything else combined. It's annoying enough to get kosed after you just get geared up but to die for no reason other than DayZ lolz at you is frustrating. I also understand that you shodn't get attached to your gear in this game. I wasn't asking for bodies to never disapear just a slight increase to make it easier for players to get to their gear after the game decided their character has been alive for too long. and I'd like to know how this is qqing? I never said I wouldn't play the game anymore or anything of thw sort. I was giving a suggestion based on my playing experience.

Condsidering he is somewhat new he probably doesn't know all the hardcore dayzers frow upon 3pp.

I've often heard that KOSing is part of the evolution of new players. You learn to gear then snipe people then become a bandit ect. I dunno, not for me. If I wanna just shoot people I'll go play counter strike. whatever floats your boat though.

So! with this new patch I am no longer stuttering along like crazy and my items blinking at me in my inventory. Now, I run and *POOF!* I;m magically back to where I was about 3 seconds ago. progressively gets worse as the session goes on. Is this another memory leak? known issue? should I submit a ticket? thanks!

any ideas if they will have to restart everyone due to the older item issues?

I can't play right now. Game seems like it's got super crazy lag after about 5 minutes in. Just stutters every 5 to 10 seconds. :(

I hadn't died for a week. had over 700 rounds for my M4. was ready to go! then I got pulled off the airtraffic tower at the NEAF or blown off by a gust of wind I guess?
