I try to keep as low a profile as possible and travel light, at most I'll use the crafted 12slot pack as it provides more than enough storage for what i need (food/water, ammo, medical supplies, long range and PU scopes for my mosin and a backup pistol for close range encounters) Granted, most of it is kept in ammo boxes/protector cases/medkits, but with enough juggling you can fit everything you need to last a while in one :)

Been playing now since the day after release, had fun, eaten beans and tried both the bandit and friendly playstyles (I refuse to go KoS. Takes the fun out of what should be a unique game rather than a CoDlolwtf), reported stuff on the bugtracker, fallen in with an awesome bunch of folks, got fully geared many times, died even more times but I don't mind! The problem is - after I've done most things over and over, and the majority of the playerbase's (I know it sounds like a gross generalisation, but the only positive player interactions i have are with my clanmates, everyone else seems to just KoS) "refuse to interact, and if i do it's solely to troll/make fun of the guy i just KoS'd" it's all getting a bit tiresome, so I'm considering stepping back for a while, maybe play through Arma2/OA again, and see what Arma3 has to offer (I bought it on steam weeks ago with the intention of checking out a few mods, primarily Altis Life as I was a -massive- cherno life fan, but it got overshadowed by DZSA) So yeah. It's been fun so far, I really can't wait to see what the game has to offer later down the line, but right now I need to step back and de-zombie a little. You guys have fun now <3

I know, right? I love the pace that the team is releasing new content, fixes and such at! I think if I take a few weeks to a month off, it'll be a totally different game by the time i return :P

That's the plan! I'm going to give ArmA3 some love (along with Altis Life and a few mods friends have reccomended), and finally get round to finishing GTAV, The Last of Us, Killzone3 and InFamous 2 (I've only recently converted from xbox to PS3, so shush before mocking me for not having played them yet :P )

Was more meant to sing the game's praises, but lament the fact that I overdid it a little. But hey, if you feel the need to see me as an attention whore then go ahead.

had a fool around on the 100man today, and decided that once it's rolled out properly I'll be avoiding major cities like the plague. Took a trip to Electro to find beans and maybe a gun before buggering off up north, found a city strewn with corpses, bambis punching eachother, and almost every roof becoming home to a sniper. I could've sworn this is one of the reasons spawns were moved away from cherno/balota? (along with them being op spawnpoints, ofc) Regardless, if they turn the servers into great big deathmatches, I'll definitely be spending more time up north, away from Bambi Fight Club - Electro chapter. Aside from that, if people can resist the urge to constantly zerg the big cities, Iook forward to higher pop servers :) What's everyone else's opinion on the possible ugrade? <3

What's the difference between vanilla/origins/epoch? which would people recommend to someone that's played SA to death, but never touched the mod?

I haven't done anything to my graphics settings since last patch, and since release i've been playing steadily on "High" with "normal" postprocessing (the one everyone seems to complain about) but recently when entering Cherno, Electro or Svetlo the game slows to an unplayable crawl for me. I've tried dropping everything to "low" and it makes little or no difference. Anyone else experiencething this? Is there a fix out there?

I've had a bit of a faff with the Blazer and SKS and must say i do like both of them! both seem to be quite handy at various ranges, and whilst not as long-range as the mosin are much better up close with the whole semi-auto thing rather than bolt-action

Next time I need to get angry and kill zombies while strong like bear, then run away fast, Rasputin Kvass will be my drink of choice!
