    Well, shit. I logged in within minutes of doing it so it seemed like that's what caused it. Oh well!

    Right, I understand that characters could be wiped at any moment in an alpha. I'm more asking specifically on the function of the reset default character option, and if it's SUPPOSED to erase your character, or if this is a bug.

    I've been on my last character for quite a few days now, over 15 hours in total. All kitted out, nice weapons and plenty of ammo, awesome gear. I changed my default character at the menu screen because I figured when I died I wanted to start as a dude instead of a woman. Welp, that wiped my character even though it says "next time you respawn". Is this supposed to happen? If so, WHY does it not say this? Has anyone changed their default character WITHOUT it wiping their current character?
