  1. Yes, it's Vanilla. I did find out that 60% more Z's spawn per player, which from my understanding, would be a pretty big performance hit, server side?
  2. Alright, another "HELP MY PC CAN'T PLAY THIS GAME!!!??" Topic... Sort of? I have searched Google, this forum and many more forums of the like. My PC has played this game at above average framerates in the past... I have tried all the "tweaks" known.Alright, so I play on one server only. I took a break for a couple weeks, and come back to terrible performance issues. While I was on break from the game, I did update a few drivers here and there. No hardware changes, just software/drivers. Before my break, I was averaging 45-50fps in major cities, and 80+ outside. Coming back, I can't get my framerate past 35fps outside of the cities, in a empty field or in a heli out above the ocean looking towards the sky? Framerate doesn't change in city that much, usually about 27fps average. EVGA Precision X shows that GPU Utilization is maxing at about 60%. Task manager shows CPU utilization at no more than 35%. Things I have tried : Deleting ArmA 2 AppData cache. Verifying game through Steam Deleting ArmA 2 config file and UserProfile config file Editing all performance tweaks through said files and changing files to "Read Only." Downgraded Drivers Placing entire Steam collection on separate harddrive (both SSD and mechanical drives) Reverting to stock speeds from overclocksMy PC Specs : Windows 8 x64AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3.7Ghz (Corsair H70 AIO Liquid Cooler)12GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz DDR3 @ 1700MhzEVGA GTX 760SC (ACX Cooler)Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSDSeagate 1TB & Western Digital 1TB data drives (64mb cache & 7200rpm on both)Does it make sense that the config files may not be being read properly? I know they're being created properly, but if I change anything through them, it doesn't seem like it's changing in game. (HDR & AToC) Could this be more on the server side of things? Admin did add more Z's, not sure how many. Everyone else I have spoke to on the server about it still get solid rates. Honestly, I haven't tried another server yet. Any ideas? Suggestions? It would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!
  3. Just recently upgraded a dying harddrive. Went from an old Western Digital 150GB Sata drive to a new Toshiba Q Series Pro 128GB SSD. Framerate using the older drive was a constant 55fps, dipping to around 30. New drive has a constant around 25fps dipping to around 12, maxing at 31? No area changes the framerate, every area (woods, city, sea) keeps a constant framerate. I've edited the config files, and ingame settings to the exact same as I had it on the WD drive. Same servers are used. I can boot the old drive and still get the same gameplay as I did before. This seems to be an issue with my SSD, but all other games and files do fine with the new addition.
