Bump for help. I really can't do anything in this game until I have a solution :S

How do I run Dayz in windowed mode? I am running windows 8.1 Sidenote: I'm just starting on steam, if this game is this shoddy and won't run for me after I spent 30$, would steam refund me? I mean I can't play the game like this, I have to spam click to see a semi-fluid motion in my mouse (everytime I click it moves to where I just clicked but won't follow me when I move it)

I tried alt+tabbing out of dayz and clicked the mouse buttons and clicked the tab to get back in, and it still isn't fixed, thanks for the note about respawning though - Keeyewsen

That is my problem, in the menus my pointer won't move until I click somewhere else, it isn't the worst thing that could happen, but it definitely makes navigating the menus a little more difficult and its taken me quite a while to get my keys assigned properly. Anyone have the solution? It would be appreciated. :) - Keeyewsen On another note, upon trying to respawn, I cannot it just gives me a "please wait" or "you are dead" message. :( don't tell me I just wasted 30$
