Fixed for the sake of truth. We just missing some eye masks then and white hats, and face paint and hair and beard... KoS every male avatar not featuring proper facial hair, now that would make sense, not because of a silly hat. -
I would like a completely new map that no one knows by heart. Instill exploration sense on top of this awesome chaos pvp we have :)

Handcuffing survivors and taking their pants is a Chernarus national hobby as popular as embracing new spawns. Rape is simply a waste of time to code in. Plus who the hell puts rape in a "wish it was in the game" notebook ? Unless your character in game is so full of jelly of such a bursting e-penis you cant control the awesomesauce anymore... Despite the RP bullshit argument, and coming from a decades long GM with the most debauched groups in P&P Cyberpunk ( DayZ is babyfood compared to it ), there is very little reason and reward in EVER allow it in the game. Only reason to include it in the game is you OP. Your innate individual satisfaction. No point arguing or throwing cheap rhetoric around. -

I wouldnt ming having layered apparel. Hats over bandannas for example. That would improve thing a bit also. -

What is the gameplay advantage of this ? No pun. - suggesting new wardrobe for example has no gameplay effect directly but opens way to player interaction and avatar development, etc. Having the hat flying off offers just the possibility of shooting it of their heads, which is interesting. -

Press vest is not that common and you must hop a bit to get it. Did it myself and always found it on the wrecked ship. Now... Anarchist Punk Combat Boots. So far the least common of all items I've came across, although not so flashy and noticeable. Only found them in Red, no idea if there's any other colors. -

This. We had the pleasure of finding a few already. And we weren't even in combat, the dudes and dudettes just logged as soon as they see us coming. Some we just leave them be. Others ? No way. Some will make threads. -
Yep, make Crafting with Sticks + Tape + Bayonet / Knifes We have a spear !!!! Would break on first thrust for sure in reality, but yeah :) it is a game, so why not :) And add police Riot Shields and can go full shieldwall and get slauthered by a hail of bullets.

DayZ is planned to ensure player liberty of movement and action. You limiting options only to 3. Why ? :( Anyway, been said somewhere, go check the devs twitter, that the visible countdown might not be viable due to some interesting reasons, including balance and technical. On the other hand I've never experienced what you say and I logged anywhere imaginable, even downtown cities. Cannot say I shared your bad luck. Not pro your idea, mind you. I see more harm than good coming out of it, especially regarding combat loggers. Make the decision to logoff, take the risk. All part of the game. -
Don't log in building upstairs ( Stable hive ). Had my share of those situations especially when some of the players connected/trying to connect have such bad latency as to mess up everyone's else. Basically upon connection you simply fall through or get thrown out the walls and bam, you are dead. Similar as to what happens when you drop stuff and they get miraculously outside the building or under some stairs. - wish there would be a connection buffer to ensure to bad latency connection would mess the entire server -

Happiness is all about running with your buddies, looting as a group, sharing the loot, surviving the fire fights, helping here and there, murdering the upstarts and end the session alive and well. No meter could hold the awesomesauce involving all the above mentioned. Therefore I suggest we forfeit it. Plus I like how you put things. People already do ALL that you mention, from reading the books ( and forcing people to read the damn book ! ); to looting as a group, and simply going around exploring and whatever. I'd suggest and hope that you find a good group that fills your happiness meter without resorting to a sterile in game mechanic. Snappy salute !

None. Will ditch any pack as soon as I get rope and burlap and if lucky, sticks. Granted it has only 12 or 20 spaces, but it is enough to carry the stuff. -

Crouch and walk in forest underbrush makes quite a impressive *crunchy* approach. Grass no so much. Rolling over with mountain backbacks... hell, anything other than a courier bag... makes me chuckle. Hope the sound to be ultra good to match the visuals ( on max settings that is ! ). -

Wait until the pens & paper work and then leave notes for us on your corpse. No need to reinvent the wheel. It is already half done. My ID card ? Shotgun, pistol sling and a black hat. Should be enough for recognition. Snappy salute and walk in the shade. -

I expect EVERYTHING to be useful in the future. From vitamins to pliers and of course... umbrellas. At the moment Hospitals are a must for the group medic supplies. Simple as that. In the future they will become useful for everyone. -
