I find the extinguisher quite useful in the knockdown especially coming out of a sprint. But from all of them a pristine baseball bat. Failing that... the rest will have to suffice.

One detail I had to change was the field of view. At a wrong setting it will provoke you some discomfort as well. No absolute best as each person have their own set of eyes. Strafing through doorways should be an easy fix, unless it is on purpose and your gun / weapon is colliding, and in this case sort of makes sense although the movement is awkward.

Try the buckshot in a sawed off barrel right in the chest. Also, would like the double barrel trigger, would make it verily lethal in a heated discussion.

Found a handful at those mechanics store ( half closed sliding panel, workbench, ... ) in Berezino. Way more buckshot around. Basically found 32 buckshot and 4 slug. So definitely they are around.

Yeah saw the buildings, quite commonplace, same as the village doctor houses. Saw the dockyards but no ships though. Might make sense as everyone left in a hurry, but the fishing boats could be there... What about the rest ? -
IIRC it is the Real Virtuality + Hands On Helis mix up. I don't know about mouse look, as I use track ir, but also get stuck in doorways and stairs sideways.

A very out-of-the-box idea. Not sure how I feel about it, sounds good in concept but cannot imagine it in play yet. But I guess it can be polished, not enhanced, polished means keeping the concept and making it worthwhile to use. +1 anyway :)

Their conscience is their own. I cannot be bothered by someone using their time to break a code. I don't think my fun is ruined by them at any step in whatever game. My fun is more important than paying attention to that. Not diminishing the problem and I agree it must be addressed, but IMO at the moment a system to prevent hoppers is WAY more important.

Don't get mislead by the mechanics included. In the end of the day is all up to the players. Better infected AI ( and some servers actually have a 3x increase in number ) are making new spawns life miserable unless there's someone half equipped to lend them a hand. Nothing is an absolute and even on the future IF the features you imagine would be implemented ( and they will, let the team work the netcode so it can accommodate more player and AI infected ) you will have anyway to deal with humans and find situation and fight through. There is no end for what other players can do. Even friendlies sometimes do surprising acts. DayZ alpha if played with a carefree mindset is hugely worth the money paid. ( would get boring to do the same thing all the time, so why do it ? ) What the game needs is dynamic spawns, not continuous server restarts for the spawns to happen. That is a priority IMO.

2 Chars on Dayz regular and hardcore?

It works like that. 1 for Regular, other for HC. Mind you that sometimes one or the other gets reset. Was trying to see if the EU or US based servers ( hardcore ) had any influence but cannot say for sure. What I know is that a avatar i played for hours with US buddies got reset when I rejoined a EU based server. Back to US server and the avatar remained. So only difference now is hives as the avatar reset might happen. Might does not mean it will. -
A peddler perhaps. Bringing head fashion around the land :) ( maybe he had an agenda with the syringes, for donation to TMW or something ) No strange loot kills so far, only killed 2 hoppers acting superior with their - "do you remember me ?" - I just axed them with two lucky leap strokes right in the forehead ( reckon one managed to hop out as he just stood there haging in the air ) while the other fell unconscious. 2 M4, lots of ammo, no magazines. Makes me wonder how many armed folks roam the land pointing their assault rifles without ability to shoot them :)

You have a good argument but, in my opinion, falls short and void on a "survivalist and full of human interaction" as opposed to the more conservative military sandbox Arma. A leaderboard built on sterile mathematics with no concern for human interaction will never reflect anything correctly in this kind of sandbox. In DayZ Reputation is all, and in that only humans can give or take points to award or penalize your actions. I'd keep it no scoreboard, or simply reliant on a simple reputation system. -
Controls are actually the least of my personal concerns but I understand it might be important to some folks. Controls are very important in a flight sim, so the physics are perfect. In a "infantry" simulator ? WASD + trackIR Video is a educated whine, nothing less.

I might be wrong, but water and food work over time, not like a immediate refill. Is it or is it not ?
