Most combat situations we had in a single evening as on a "Friendly Server" with "PVE only" in the title. Was full to the brim and we knew it would be the best place to search for fights. We were damn right :). Hunting bandits, running away from big armed "slaver" groups, and tracking down KoS'ers in the mountains. Was damn good. I suggest all server have this kind of title. -
Sorry. No. Simple reason is you just want stats about kills and shots and related situations that make mandatory to go into fire fight towns. One can go and "win" the game without a single shot fired and without spending any time in a big city. Big flaw. You cannot quantify liberty of action and even less qualify it through a ladder.

One of the aspect I like in DayZ SA, and other games, is the unintended creation of your character as you go along. Give or take, we only have limited body aspect options, but we have clothes and multiple combinations that allows for a characterization of our avatar. More or less stylish the clothes available are okay but, and hence my suggestion, there could be a bit more room for this "indirect character design mechanic" and even make it interesting for group play, collectible loot, whatever you can make out of it. After all not all players are military-only-obsessed -individuals ... not that there is something wrong with it, but diversity helps. - Tuxedo parts - seriously, I would expect to find some of these around - we already have some nice shoes. - Church related outfits - "Salvation by slug shot brothers ! Amen ! " - Medical outfits - "I will fix you... yeah fix you...there there no more pain...!" - Overall suits - You know the ones that fit your entire figure ( we have the helmets, we need the suits ) - Female apparel - you read it right ! dresses, skirts and whatever. - Cossack / Folk types - especially valenkis and other felt made stuff and proper high heel boots. Would fit the "ex soviet territory" feeling Wow, sorry for getting carried away. Onto the rest, non clothing related. - Card decks - sorry, no full card decks but single cards. You'll have to travel and trade to get a full deck. "And do what with it ???" - you ask - No idea. Simply put it would be a collectible in game and cards are always present in any ... outlandish settings. Plus you could boast having a full deck, or sit down and play Die or Dare, an uninvented game born in Chernarus where you bet loot and your life in a game of cards - everyone can put stuff on the ground for others to see, so use your imagination on how the game goes. - Staff ( & craftable Sticks ) - this is the most precious cross country item. Helps going up and down hills and can be used as a blunt weapon. - Military Orders & Medals - another collectible set of items. Fill your breast and boast how pro you are by finding all these around the land. - Personal Diaries - Now this one I would like a community group to participate and write lore to be included, as books, that can be read. Has no influence in anything but just adds a bit of Story to what happened to this forsaken land. It is not a player diary but a fictional diary of someone that lived in that city / home, before the apocalypse. Al right you military purists and action junkies, move along, I know you won't do anything with these stuff... but damn... imagine yourselves taking over Elektro in full tuxedo suits and gas masks ? We all going to die in Chernarus. The question is, how good you wanna look when you go down. Snappy salute!

Don't know what to tell you. Saved two guys the way I described. Bandage, Epi, IV and food and drink. Myself been saved by epi + food/water/IV once and by defib use once. Given the chance we never let anyone slip into respawn hell. GL next time.

Epi jection followed by hydration and food. Wait. Eventually he will wake up. Alternativelly, check pulse, defib, he awakes, hydrate and food. Epi is not the cure, just a measure to buy time to act.

Er... HC hive is locked. Regular gives you the option. Nothing wrong with it. The more interesting way to change 3PP would be to make it linked to 1PP FoV, so that camera angle closes when in 3PP and opens when in 1PP ( FoV stays the same, camera moves back and forth, angle closes )

( I'd suggest a complete new map that no one knows so to put everyone in the same shoes, but i won't... waiting for the release and then the release of modding tools )

This is something that could be implemented, map use wise, when we have the luck to find a map. Maybe dual wield, with compass in one hand and map on the other.

Well, I can read your points. Being a sandbox game it means it comes to the player-actors to do the action. I came to the point where hoarding stuff just for hoarding stuff is plain silly. And most of the times one doesn't even spend a third of the ammo one carries, or food, or water, or... Plus the gender cross dressing maelstrom would drive conventions nuts tbh, didn't think about it. But yeah, either lock it to gender or open way to a fashion apocalypse as well. Top Tuxedo, lower pink kilt. What a dumb sight that would be, you'd forget they could be the worst more merciless bandit horde in the land just because you'd get lost in laughter. Back to the origin, dropped a bundle of stuff to be analysed and discussed. :) Cheers. Z land need character. Character comes from us.

We all get paranoid in the long run. Basic example is always the talk on comms - "Am I getting paranoid or I hear someone eating ?" Further down the madness road you start killing friendlies by mistaked, just because they entered unseen in a building, changed their headweat and as everyone was hot from a fire fight he gets murdered because he had a helmet instead of the baseball cap... ... pure distilled madness !!! and proper hilarious paranoid cackling on TS. -
Respawning and playing it the same way as the previous life kills it. Half the time I spend on my avatar lives are searching for apparel to make it look like the "actor" I intend it to be. And good fun is to always carry your group with a motif, like, play some days only as Red Devils paratroopers. Next spawn all go Red Stars guerrillas, or cowboy bushwhackers. DayZ is all about the trip as i see it.

True that, not than common to find. Maybe the Tourist maps spawn rate should be increased ? Also you can make use of DayZ Central ( google it ). Nifty phone/tablet tool with the map. But you still have to read the landscape.

Subscribed, and let me add number 1 as well. Orientation is a skill. And the engine renders terrain so beautifully that reading it with a map in hand is a joy.

True and I do, just stated how I feel, because military stuff is more common than civilian. ( imo 95% civil / 5% military should be the norm ) Ah well, if they put it in i'll use it one life or the other :) -

Oh god... exactly what we need... more military stuff... Civilian weapons make for the most epic shoot outs and fill the ghost towns with noise out of hell - shooting both barrels sounds like artillery incoming. Military stuff are just bland.
