    Bandito...

I see that people like to play into the "Hollywood" way of dealing with a disaster; Kill everyone as they are a potential threat. Meanwhile in Japan during eathquake... people lining up in queue's to get food in a civil manner -.- While this game is fun, it is sadly a very very twisted version of what would likely happen. Hollywood: 1, RL: 0

Real Life Skills You've Learned from DayZ

I've learned that the virtual nature doesn't produce anywhere near as much edible stuff as the real world. My wildlife skills are bashed with the nerfhammer when in-game -.-

.55 loot, I'll just leave it at this.

Seriously. I can live with no loot, but dying of starvation 6 characters in a row, in an environment as lush as this...no way. Under similar climate conditions it took my GF 2 hours to feed 5 guys with blueberries to their pancakes, on the fire, in the middle of the woods. There were blueberries to spare. 3 hours of gameplay time and the only thing I've done is pass vegetation that could have kept me alive while finding 2 hats. But no food. Please wake me from hibernation when next patch is out. Worst patch to date.

Reason why Bandits rise and heroes die.

Fucking up the gaming experience for a lot of people because you have a grudge with developers? Yeah, that sounds like a very good plan...

you know you played to much DayZ when......

Fact; DayZ has renewed my interest in urban exploration :)

    Why I'm a Bandit..

That's not bandit, that is killer. You should at the very least not mix the two when trying to troll people on the forums and hope for raging :D P.S If you had actually played like a bandit and held people up, robbed them and maybe taken them hostage, make them drop all their gear and walk them hands over head for a few kilometres before letting them go...you would be my hero. But ya ain't go them cahoonas do you?

Things to do in dayZ SA

    * Seek out people in need of medical attention * Actually go and visit the sites that are not hotspots. Revisiting NEAF, NWAF, SAF, Electro, Rify or Berezino over and over again gets tedious. * Hiking (What I do atm, been walking from SW corner to SE corner, then headed north again away from the coast. He's made a complete lap around the outer edges of the map, among other things) * Scout for good areas to set up your camp, once it is implemented. * Swim to the islands in the south if you haven't already * Get a radio and go looking for hidden transmissions A few things to do. I have yet to engage in any firefights, been killed a few times, but that PVP stuff won't be any fun until (hopefully) ammo scarcity will be so severe that people will have to ask themseves if they really need to use that bullet, at that moment. If I'm lucky and that is the way it will be.

    Stop complaining about KoS

This is what everybody says, but I do not share your definition of winning, that is all. But some people just need to tell me they win when they KoS. I wonder why that is, do they not think I have the brains to understand that they enjoy themselves? Some even repeat it over and over, like a mantra. It still will not be true for me and probably a number of other people. The "anti" kos people provide arguements, the pro kos people feel the need to tell others how much they win when they do it and open threads to ask about peoples opinion on kos, tell people to stop whining about kos, tell others how wrong they are and use the sandbox arguement to try and justify an overly aggressive mentality that has no roots in reality, or make remarks about your person, off topic of course. Fits rather snugly together those traits, no? A word beginning with D and ending in bag comes to mind...

    Stop complaining about KoS

I'll give you lol; A simulator? Really? Arey you that out of touch with the real world outside your window? Am I to believe it would happen just because you say so? You are just another dime a dozen who fail to realise that the absence of arguements to back up your claims never a believable man made. And you even have to spell out that your post is not a complaint... of course it is, else you wouldn't be in this complain thread

    Stop complaining about KoS

No, if we do that the forums will wither away and die a slow death.... Makes me wonder why I stalk this place :|

    Stop complaining about KoS

Are you whining because someone else whines about your actions? Priceless :P
  12. I'd like to add a comment to this; I come from one of the richest countries in the world, Norway, and yes we are spoiled brats for the most part when compared to people living in horrendous conditions around the world, but you know what? Since we are so rich and have so much free time on our hands, a lot of us have travelled the world and visited those areas, and there have been quite a bit of travel/roadtrip etc. movie/documentaries made by those people over the years. You want to know what I have observed with these documentaries? Without much exception, some of the poorest people norwegian/scandinavian globetrotters have enqountered on their travles are the ones who were the most including. There is a red line in them all, the less money and resourced the people they meet have available, the more they share with complete strangers, while REFUSING to accept anything in return. That tells me that the poor and unfortunate are the ones who know the value of community and cooperation, not us über-rich douchebag, oil pumping morons of the western europe/scandinavian area. So no, I will not accept your notion that the whiners, who yes, are spoiled brats, have something to "learn" about watching their backs with regards to others living in worse conditions. Just because we are asshats doesn't mean we need to learn to accept that we will be shot down in cold blood by people who are in the know. The ones who are in the know are so because of (mostly) religious disputes, corruption and capitalism. In Dayz though, it is a zombie apocalypse. Not nearly in the same ballpark.

    Really, devs?

Because we can soonTM hunt animals, not sure if you've seen the little bunnies jumping around in the forests, and get food in a silent way without being forced into the rural areas where the people killers reside. It's going to be friggin epic :D It is a tell tale sign that the only thing some people think about when discussing bows is how sucky it will be to kill players with....so just keep your mosin/magnum/sks/m4/FX...do they really need more firearms? A bow is about to be introduced, and the people who have a vide variety of guns to choose from complain it will not hold up to the standards of current implemented weapons. And some try to argue this is not a character killing zone at the moment, hehe :|

Dayz - In real life (how would you act)

It really is a cause for concern when people have played so much video games that they think what they do in the game is what they would do in a real life situation. Maybe it's time to log off and venture outside for a bit -.-
  15. Two words is all you can muster, not even relevant to what I write. So sidestepping it is distrubing.
