I might be on a bit tonight, still have the gear from my previous kill... SAW, coyote backpack, rangefinders, M9SD etc... And I have yet to die for the first time B) This weekend I planned on being online a lot, however was just informed im going away for a party weekend... so next week I'll be on a lot more! Hopefully see you guys tonight! Not sure how to get in-touch with you, I guess I can write here when I'm on and ready!

I'm going to be honest... I almost feel sick when I type the way I have done... I thought I'd go for the overly cocky 360noscope pro kid approach... I'm happy you mentioned it. I am merely a good player, and perhaps to your surprise a nice person! Thank you, was fun playing on your server. I think I'm currently on 12 kills, 0 deaths. But we all die eventually, all it takes is one mistake :huh:

Nizra, you wanted bandits, more killing? Well, your server seems to be filled with people, thats a plus. But not a lot of skill ;) Within my first 5 min, killed 5 people with my makarov. Then a heli comes... a dude with an m14 jumps out... he lands, shoots... I kill him too, with my makarov. Take his m14, kill another guy. Heli pilot (I assume) shits himself and carebears away. I run back to kamenka (I'm injured, need food)... I hear a SAW (In kamenka... odd?)... I see 3 guys, 2 fresh spawns (his friends) and the SAW guy in supermarket... I circle it (zombies on me)... he runs out, before he aims, drop him with my m14... I then spot his two friends in the distance, drop them too with my m14... now its close to 10 kills if not more within the first 15min. The SAW guy had coyote backpack, rangefinders, DMR, M9SD and of course the SAW. Roughly 10 kills and a lot of loot within 15min... You wanted more bandits? More killing? You got it ;) P.S - The last guy I killed, the well geared that appeared from nowhere in kamenka (again, odd?) he said something like, "you're gonna regret you came to this server, hold on" Yay, my first scrub admin threat? Or just a player? Hopefully en empty threat, I'm hoping I've found a decent server. Update later ;)

Hi all. I have searched the forums/web for a decent server to play on, seems I've found the place. Purely judging from this thread, the positive vibe, the extremely polite admin and generally the good responses from people, I can put that into relation in how the server will be, epic? Love it! Short intro, My name is Miyo, you could say I am an extreme DayZ veteran with some pretty impressive statistics under my belt. - I streamed live on twitch on a very populated and busy server (60slot server, almost always full). I survived an entire week fighting in the NORTH (Don't waste my time with anyone below the southern line, you do not deserve my bullets, however "pro" you may or may not think you are) and within this life I reached 60 player kills, thats right you heard me correctly. Thats fighting in the North against large groups, organised clans... oh, and I didnt camp in a bush with a sniper. I have videos of me killing 8 people 8v1... and them calling me a hacker on my live stream, the viewers loved it. That week alone on twitch got me 24,000 views and 550 favourites. Not a bad start eh? The life after that I reached 47 kills, life after that 17... you get the point. - I ran probably if I dare say, one of the most successful "killing&surviving" clan in this game, we were 5 guys. I assigned specific roles to everyone depending on their abilities. Eventually (after giving up on calling us hackers... oh how I love scrubs) we were known as Kings of the North. Collectively, in 2 weeks we accumulated 197 player kills. The group never wiped once (some did die though but re-joined after a long run from the south) and we had some amazing fights, the best (recorded) was a 5vs11.... we won ofcourse. - I know chernarus like the back of my hand, don't need a compass nor a map... doesnt matter where I spawn. I know it all and how to get anywhere... sad really, so many hours spent on this game. To my name (impossible to know actual figure) I most likely have over 1,000 kills.... probably a lot more. Please take into account I stopped playing over 6 months ago. Why am I telling you this, surely this will only get me jealous butthurt from other "bandits" thinking they pro? Sure, I feed of your tears, bring plenty. No No... I'm telling you this because I have decided to come back to DayZ after a long break, and want a server I can be loyal on. I'm am not always a bandit, I have helped a few people on the way, been a carebear for a few minutes of my life. But its all about the hunt for me, the chase... being chased! I love tracking people, getting that sexy 1km+ sniper shot, ambush clans, take down helis with my sniper (recorded) and/or get up close with whatever weapon is in my hands. I love this game... the zombies can get a bit annoying, the tend to get in the way of the fun... PVP. No problem, mechanics are so poor in this game its hardly difficult... run into a house... back-peddle and headshot them 1 by 1... etc. Now, most of my friends are not playing this game anymore and besides I'd like to meet new people, interact, team up etc, can get boring lone-wolfing. So, I guess this is for you BeatSTV (STV the rap/grime YT channel? I know Joseph aka Skepta, we lived on the same street ;)) do you want to team up, bring some mayhem upon this great server? Would be fun. Anyway.. what a novel this has become. This server seems very good and the people (again, judging from this thread) seem very cool, so I cant wait to hop in and be the King again (I sincerely hope I still got the skill haha ;)) - M3CH4N1CAL (Miyo is old name, since I been away, nice with a change). The latest Arma Beta patch... 94444... is anyone else having problems downloading it? Everytime I click it nothing happens... if I leave it for 5min it finally comes up giving me the option to download, but when it does it downloads INSTANTLY, now I have good internet, but 8mb without any sort of loading/actual downloading.. is weird. Anyway, when I do click the 'downloaded' link... and when extracting it as per usual it says file is corrupted and/or damaged. Any tips? downloading from here - http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

i7 980X (extreme edition)... hexacore (not that its needed atm). 12GB DDR3 1800 Dominator (corsair) Ram 2GB 6950 (unlocked via bios to 6970) GPU Liquid Cooling.... LED 24" 1920x1080 monitor Cooler Master Haf X case.... so many fans... My FPS ranges from 40 - 350 In central cherno (for example)... its usually around 40-70 fps.. really smooth. Whilst up north (where i basically live ingame) I'm always on 80+... when running in fields between NWA - Stary etc... its usually on around 150 fps... sometimes higher, sometimes a lil bit lower. I built this computer myself back in november 2011. BACK THEN it cost me £1,500 (many parts I havent mentioned, like PSU, motherboard etc)... so naturally will be a lot cheaper now, and you probs wont need the OverKill i7 980X... something like a 2600k is fine. Hope this helps. (Monitor was not included in price, had it already).

PvE? Seriously? Zombies are so easy to avoid, kill its quite amusing... the only real challenge and fun (for the more skilled/experienced players) is PvP. Nowdays, my team merely see zombies as a nuisance when pvping. I have just over 1,000 zombie kills.. and thats purely killing zombies whos got in my way when pvping. People say zombies are hard... starting without a weapon is difficult... people want PvE only servers? To do what exactly? Crawl past zombies 24/7? You can use ANY gun... any gun at all and run through a town/city... pull all zombies and then back-peddle and wait for the 'hit' animation and then shot them calmy, or you could just run inside a building, and then calmy headshot zombies one by one... Zombies in this game makes pvp slightly more challenging, more fun (sometimes frustrating when they get in my way). But what would this game be without pvp and only zombies? An utter and complete joke. Whats the point of me having an AS50 + MK 48... NVG, range finder... etc etc.. to kill zombies? I can kill cherno's population of zombies with a melee weapon or a makarov... no challenge. This is directed towards all you no skilled players AKA carebears. I feed on your tears.

Less Recoil Use both AS50 & M107 mags Has a better zoom (and seems slightly more steady) Makes less noise Zeroing maxed at 1,600m (M107 1,200m) Looks better A lot more rare, therefor more awesome Having used both and currently using the AS50, in my opinion, I prefer the AS50.

Hi all. Been playing a while now (DayZ), and the following is my current gear as well as gear I've had in the past (similar). A lot of you post you got this... and that... but no screenshots? What a coincidence, no proof huh? Current Setup: || Ghillie Suit - (Spare Camo in backpack) || Coyote 24 Slot Backpack || NVG (Nightvision Googles) || M249 aka SAW - 1,200 rounds (6mags) || AS50 (badboi sniper, the best) - 55 rounds (5xM107 mags + 1xAS50 mag) || M9SD - 75 rounds (5 mags) || 5+ Blood Bags (painkillers, Epi-Pen, Morphine... etc) || Toolbox, Radio, Trenching Tool... GPS... bla bla, all that. Previously Owned Weapons: - M4A3 CCO (all M4s CCO...) - had countless... - M4A1 CCO SD (as well as the camo one, (x3)) - M14 AIM (x4) - M107 Sniper (x2) - Bizon SD (x2) - M24 (x5) - M16 AcoG (x3) - M4A1 Holo (x1) - M136 Rocket Launcher (x1) - Countless DMR's... - MP5SD... so shit. - No need to mention the simplified weapons of the above, such as the standard M4 etc... no need for such a weapon anymore, always had/found better. Also, not mentioning the noob weapons down south... winchester etc, all the normal handguns... You may be wondering... DAFUQ? Its simple.. LEAVE THE SOUTH. My and my team always play up north, fight up north, survive up north. We usually circle from NWA -> Vybor -> Pushtoshka -> Stary... then rince and repeat. We dont camp, we're always running. When raiding Stary, for example, I'll usually cover my team, being the sniper in the group. Sometimes we go berezino... but its so boring, and generally never find a challenge (pvp wise). Zombies? LOL so easy... cant understand why people complain and/or say its hard? If this mod was purely zombies... and contained no pvp... LOL, ezmode. Run through a town, run inside a building, headshot them all one by one, EASY. Or even... when we pull, we simply take out our handguns, and BACK-PEDDLE with the zombies, wait for 'attack' animation then calmy headshot. So to all you carebears crying over pvp... wow you're shit. Yay, screenshot time! Enjoy :> ^ EASY. With ANY gun.

All my friends I was playing with still have all their gear and they are in the same exact spot as when the server went down... everyone else on server was fine too. It happened just to me (on that particular server).

Hi all. Not entirely sure if this has been covered, I'm pretty sure it has not (a solution that is). Basically, last night I was playing on CZ01, which is one of the developers test servers, that basically means its just like any other server with a few extra tweaks (such as different shades of light etc etc). I speak to Dwarden on there too, a very nice fella. He warned us that there would be a server restart in 3min, then a second warning at 60seconds.. not a problem, me and my 2 friends were ready and awaited the restart. (This restart also happened for all the other servers, to implement the new hotfix). Upon entering the server again.. I was in the 'wilderness' without ANY gear, whatsoever. Not that anyone cares, but I'm sure a few of you can appreciate the time/luck it takes to gather some of the following items. NVG M107 (5 mags) M4A3 CCO Coyote 24 Slot Ghillie Skin Spare Camo Skin in backpack Radio Blood Bags (5+) M9SD list goes on... So understandably I'm quite frustrated all this is gone, the time and effort gone into aquiring all these items, my char is also an old one (been alive a long time). I tried relogging on the same server, still in wilderness. I tried logging into several new servers, at different times of the day yesterday, still in wilderness without ANY of my gear. Now, this is not a cry post, believe me you. I merely would like to know if there actually is ANYTHING I can do to get back to where I was, with what I had. If anything at all can be done? If not.. I guess I'll take it on the chin and move on (I mean ofcourse respawn, if that will even solve it). Many thanks for all and any of your help. -Miyo
