You can outrun them, just run in a straight line, after about 300 yards (meters) they give up. If you re-leash them they will start chasing you again.

I assume you are mostly dieing on the second floor of buildings? There is an issue where you desync and the floor eats you.

What if I told you this is an Alpha, and that thats low on the list of priority's and co-existent with server/client optimization that they are in the middle of?

I try :( Its my worst habbit :( Mostly because if I catch something else later, there is no easy way to just edit the post with a new quote without jumping through hoops :/

This. They must have been fixing something with their netcode in the last couple patches. Lag and small teleports are happening a lot. I have less than awesome internet so it is very apparent to me :/

They respawn on server restart.

Blaze will sometimes oneshot people, often twoshot them, and if it doesnt out right kill them it has a better than reasonable chance to break their leg. Even if you shoot them in the chest.

Even then hes wrong. There have been significant changes and additions to the map. And you are totally correct, they are ripping the gutts out of the engine. It wont even kind of resemble the Arma when they are done with it.

Or at the least, until its actually difficult (if ever) to gear up and get going. I average about 30 minutes from fresh spawn to gun and kit, maby an hour and a half to have what I want, including a 'look'. All of this with no server hopping. There is really no need for a tent, you could probably just run around in a slightly inland town and gear up just as fast as it would take you to run to your base.

Why dont you go outside and try to run up a 50* incline. Go ahead, ill wait.... On topic, they will be adding a stamina/load system once vehicles are in. The game is a work in progress, many core features and systems are bare bones or non-existent.

Guy meets guy, messes with truck, truck eats guy. Figuring how to get there in less then 2 minutes with a couple little cuts would make this HA FRIKIN LARIOUS. Arrows are a dime a dozen now. Look for sticks on the forest floor or cut them with an axe. Sharpen stick, search chicken coup for feathers or kill a chicken. Arrows forever.

Joining a server to soon after a restart will wipe your character. Best wait for the server clock to tick up one minute to make sure it has fully restarted. (I.e. from 09:00 to 09:01 server time)

Look for water in places where it would be IRL. In valleys and drainage's there are often small pools of water.

Hehe, I was wondering if you were going to list the most obvious one. The sun being so far down in the southern sky... However the point still stands, OP just wants it colder, and redoing the map for snow/spring/summer is out of the question for a long, long time. That doesnt mean that we cant be in danger of freezing to death in minutes provided we get rained on or are in the woods exposed for an extended amount of time. You just always seem to get hung up on how the game relates to real life... a bit to much... Some things are not possible or within the scope of a video game. But maby I am misinterpreting your analysis as something else, but you always seem to have some kind of counter point to suggestions based on 'real life' that are not necessarily applicable to the limitations of a game. So what your saying is sticks can be used in a fireplace kit? Or must it be an upgraded fireplace kit with stones? Make fireplace kit, add stones, add sticks, light?
