Shit my pants because we always seem to come around the corner and run into each-other. Like every time. The more empty the server gets the more likely I am to run into the other handful of people on the server. No matter where I am, coast inland, forest. Its a silly joke :/

He probably doesnt want a cookie. He probably wants you to look into getting more than 4 fps so he can enjoy your videos. You should decrease your graphical quality if you want people to enjoy your videos. FPS>Texturequality every time.

People Keep saying guns will be way more powerful. I hope they keep thinking this. That way when I ambush them in the middle of a town, and they return fire with their superior weapons, only to get overrun by zombies 10 seconds later, they can be glad they have such powerful guns. Thats an unfair assessment of the discussion that has happened so far in this thread. Not everyone who is in favor of this is a '1PPer'. Than you make a sweeping insult, to the group you lumped anyone who doesn't agree with the proposal into? You can do better than that. This makes you sound immature.

Running around Elecktro on the experimental server I ran into this guy. I did at first think he had some kind of ammo glitch, but quickly changed my mind. I think he only didnt shoot me because as sad as it is he was lonely and wanted attention. He had probably killed most of the people on the server and was bored. In the end I tryed to play dumb and get him to report where he got his hacks from so that it could be fixed. But his lieing and some communication hurdles didnt allow me to have much of an effect before he flew off. I recorded for an hour or so more, hoping he came back. I didnt know if he would have been immune to bullets, but I would have tryed to find out. I never see the point in cheating and causing others to suffer to make yourself feel better. Its the most pathetic kind of enjoyment. But often I find myself feeling sorry for the ones who need that feeling to feel good about them-self. That cant recognize that 'killing the noobs' or hacking is just them crying out because they feel powerless and want to have control over other people. This is why I dont hack. This is why I play the Hero in DayZ.

Its exactly as I thought it would be, because even if you had some kind of transition to a different model, the gear would have to be reattached and animated ecet because all of the gear is custom. So to do it so it looks ok would get massively convoluted because of all of the gear combinations and the ragdoll position, if I am understanding you correctly. I appreciate you taking the time to share that! Not if there is still a firefight in the town methinks. Thats one of the issues when I play and we run into another squad, they die and run back...

I started thinking about this and I see how it could get way harder than I thought... Thats really sad. It would be worth it though! Couldnt you add a couple layers of rot to the ragdoll's and one or two states of damaged/ruined to objects on the ground that it could transition to? Or is that as much work as i think it may be. If so could you elaborate just a small bit on why it would be hard? I like this kind of information :D

Try getting loot without server hopping. The game isnt about having loot and getting into fights with it. The game is about surviving. Running to your dead body, or 'farming loot (i assume your either joining low pop or server hopping) isnt what this game is about. You may be able to do it now but its going to get harder. Using your old body as a type of respawn system and not participating in the experience of gearing up on a populated server is denying yourself the unique experiences of this game. If you want to shoot people so bad I hear good things about arma 3, or if thats still to hard for you titan fall seems to be popular.

3 hours day 2 night, but I voted to early in development to tell. Anything that is not real time based, I dont want to have to play in different servers to experience the environment change. the 19.5 looks promising but there is a lot of time between change and all of your game time would be occupied by the same situation every day. It would just be a different situation every session, instead of an evolving situation.

Try setting it to 0, I hardly have any at all. Also make sure you have a wide enough field of vision, narrow makes it worse. And make double sure you can pull at least a steady 25 fps and are playing in a well lit room.

Well, if you like doing things three or four times, half ass and backwards. It would take way more work in the long run. These systems are actively being built. Do you know what an alpha test is? Its a glitch, the collision system is still being built.
