Ya but this systems netcode is under construction still and its base is less than good :/ Arma 3 has the same kind of thing, people going up spiral stairs are funny because they can shoot out of the side of buildings.

Brings me to the point, why would you ever run through the hottest towns in the game without a way to protect yourself?

I think that when we are starving, freezing to death, and worried about hords of zombies we wont need to have combat as the only thing to entertain us.

I think that thats what most people want. They want guns and amo to be extremely rare, and military weapons even more so. And with item eco im sure they will be making adjustments, its a bit silly that you can take 30 minutes and have a weapon and more amo then you can handle.

Depends on if the developers want more or less focus on players killing each-other. I believe they are going to make weapons significantly harder to find, especially military style ones. However with private servers and modding you will be able to find more 'tons-o-guns' servers then you can shake a stick at.

You should use more closeup shots on the actor so we get into his emotions. This is a great start though! Also, you dont need to show EVERY action. An example is you follow the guy up the stairs, as he gets to the top of the stairs, as he walks around upstairs. Unless you very specifically want to slow action down to get suspense built up this is redundant. What is the point of going upstairs? Try to avoid door opening and closing shots because the animation ruins the immersion. You dont need to 'lower my voice so i sound like a bad-ass'. I think that your natural voice would be more engaging Especially if you have some kind of Irish accent. If you would like any more feedback let me know. My degree is in film, effects, photography and design :)

Honestly you want a more clever solution to this? Polaroid cameras as a rare item. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE? You could leave them lying around with notes and whatnot. Edit: I REALLY need to learn how to use the multi-quote on this board at some point.... -

People have to make a choice. This server or that server. They voice opinions on the forums 'what should or should not be done'. They take stances 'this is the best way'. These things are divisive because of how impactful the choice of perspective is in video games. Imagine gears of war in 1pp, or COD in 3pp. The games would be a fundamentally different experience. -

I completely agree with you. In my personal opinion the game would have been better in first person, but that may not be rockets vision. However he has painted himself into a corner now. -

Well, the fact that it exists fundamentally changes game-play. It changes the heart of the game. Unless they are going to completely take it out, over the shoulder or vanishing people will never change that. -

However there is one compelling reason why the proposed solution isnt very good. It divides the community It arguably creates a less rich gaming experience. Among other things. A good mental exercise is what if the game were released without including third person would anyone have really cared? I personally was shocked that this game of all games had third person. I think it was unfortunately left in just because arma had it, and that now it would be an 'issue' to remove it. -

Friend was in a deer stand when he changed items in his hand and shot up into the air. Probably something with the navmesh and arma physics
