Got it sorted out finally. It was a conflict with some other program I had running. Unfortunately I'm not sure which one. I just went through task manager and stopped everything I didn't recognize.
Everything is set to defaults in Catalyst Control Center. I have no idea where that "triple buffering" thing is coming from, there are no option in CCC for triple buffering. There error is this... Sorry. Specs are i5 3570K Powercolor 7870 Myst edition 8gig ram 128GB SSD I verified the game cache, still crashes after 10 seconds after the menu comes up. When it first starts up is says: Warning: Forced Triple Buffering requested but not applied. The problem error it comes up with is "BEX"
I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and can help me out. I just bought the game and am very excited to play. Whenever I start it up, it has the blank screen for about 10 seconds and then gets to the Early Access Alpha Warning thing. After about 2 seconds it crashes to desktop saying it has stopped working. I have installed fresh drivers and have no idea what might be causing the crash. Ideas?
