Ever spawn a charector in the middle of no where?? Or how about a hacker teleports you somewhere and you manage to disconnect before he kills you and now you're stuck somewhere?? Or ever get glitched stuck somewhere and you're unable to move?? Respawn button use to be the easy fix, instead of waiting to starve to death or have a friend or unfriendly kill you. Then, players started taking advantage of the respawn button to spawn closer to their corpse so they could get their loot back, or just to get back to the location of their death to sneak up on the player that originally killed them. I understand why it was disabled and I am fine with it. However, I think it shouldn't be totally disabled. My suggestion is to give players a 2 times use per day to the respawn button. Players that use it to get a better spawn location with only get 2 chances, and players who get stuck or teleported somewhere will be able to respawn without having to wait. Even if it's only 1 respawn per day, it would be better than being stuck for hours. Not to mention people wouldn't really be able to take advantage of it. Tell me what ya think??

Yea, that why I said put a limit of uses on it. Like 2 per day. If you would've read my post entirely, you would've know what this was about. How can 2 respawns a day be abused?? - By a player respawning twice a day and hope the random respawn puts him close to where he wants to be. Anything else would be players who need a legit respawn due to a glitch in the game or if a hacker teleports them somewhere like it was done here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/63904-hacked-need-reset-now/ Anyways, don't think this suggestion is for lazy players, that why I suggested 1 - 2 uses per DAY.

I don't see this ever being added. It's too much for a game that has nothing to do with hunting. You see an animal, kill it, then take the raw meat and cook it to restore health and fill your food meter. No real reason to make it more difficult. Now if animals could be infected, then that would be fun.

Dude, I know it was a shitty deal but what do you expect?? He was after an AS50 and killed you for it. Never meet players for anything, it's usually a trap.

Yea, taking the respawn button away was probably not a good idea.... However, too many people abused it. I think it should be brought back but with a limit to 2 uses per day.

I have Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, and Six Launcher installed on my Laptop. When I try to play, I get kicked and it says "BattleEye Failed to Update". I have tried reinstalling everything multiple times, and I run Steam as administrator. When i try to manually reinstall BattleEye on steam to Arma 2, I get a message that says "This game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time". So if anyone can fix this for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

i got it working without following the BattleEye steps listed above. Here is the trick: -Log into Arma 2 OA -Click Multiplayer -Look for a DayZ server and join it -Your client will now force a BattlEye redownload and fix. BOOYAH!!

All you do is get in your vehicle and drive in to a town and click your left click button on the mouse repeatedly. It will automatically tune you in to WQUZ Zombie 101.7FM for all your Zombie Apocolypse needs.

So I'm running around on US 954 with a friend. Out of no where, everyone on the server has a broken leg. I guess it's effective if you're being chased by zombies, but it was the biggest dissappointment of a hack. I expected the hacker to teleport to me and kill me with a hatchet, or maybe life everone off the ground and drop us to our doom. Guess he didn't have any talent afterall. Stop downloading newb scripts dude. They suck.

You have to take a helicopter and fly there. No way up other than that.

You can swim on ANY server with NO chance of losing gear unless you are killed in the water.
