I mostly go 1st person on regular servers now. I get much less lag and frame-rate issues when not in 3rd.

There's always something to do. Instead of just killing yourself, why not become a hero or bandit and let others do it for you. You may even survive long enough to come back and tell us how much you enjoyed it.

I think he's a good player...especially as he seems to be playing without hacks since he got called out.

For posting a 'graphic' image of a pony being hurt? 1) Get real 2) Look around you...a forum about a game, about zombies, including fetishistic sexual activities (sometimes involving minors) including stripping and bondage.....murder....assault.... and you warn me because of posting an image that upset the sort of numpties who go gooey over cartoon ponies designed for six year old girls? Folks, there comes a time when you drift into trying to make a reality show and not a game. People asking for babies and faeces and other traits of the species, but at the end of the day it is supposed to be fun and an interesting pun on the old run-and-gun. It rhymes. So it must be true.

It's like that moment when you try playing The Sims, and quickly ascertain that the life/work cycle can be a ball-ache enough, but to want to then have the stress of organising other people's lives when I can't get past the lame-excuses-stage with regard to getting some exercise in my own friggin' life is intolerable. That's not a game, it's unpaid fking chores.

Who said either bothered us? We're all naked under our jim-jams, and in the context of a video game graphic violence is great. What has it got to do with principles? Even if it had, who are you to judge other people's principles? It works both ways...some people find that thing you do with sheep offensive. ;)

It's a game. Realism has to stop somewhere. I don't want servers to have monthly rampages of women hunting down sheep or cotton-wool. Where will it end? Remember to clean your ears in-game or you could get impacted ear-wax. Too much. Far too much, The danger is the game will get to the point where it is ultra real, but not fun. If a game isn't fun, it's unpaid work.

What has Steam got to do with it? Personally I got fed up with the "I-was-in-the-military-so-demand-respect-for-fuck-all' dickheads with their bad attitudes, over-inflated egos and heads firmly up their own arsehole that littered the ARMA community...so, swings and roundabouts. These people need to learn - Just because you were in the military, doesn't automatically mean you're not a cunt.

Are you playing on one of those private servers that kicks people when they join so the 2 remaining players can loot their way to orgasm, unhindered by gameplay?

Do I want the next 'big thing' to be handcuffing people, stripping them naked and then shitting and pissing on them? Not so much.

Not fair to introduce broken legs without suicide IMO, not when the cause of the broken legs (and subsequent 17 hour crawl) is often unwarranted.

and what is wrong with that? It may not be how YOU want people to play the game...but you didn't buy it for him. Let him play it how HE wants to.

Report you own post to a mod and ask them to delete it. the helpful souls have done it for me a couple of times.

I used to play Battlefield 2 competitively for a clan and I swear one of our servers was haunted. I'd be on their on my own and hear a buggy rev up in the distance and other noises. I didn't feel alone. As for DayZ...weirdest thing I have seen so far is a guy's head poking through a wall whilst he was glitching a view of his surroundings.

Maybe people were offering you an alternative until the idea is implemented or not.
