Have any of you noticed that patch by patch, the graphics are getting worse? When I first started the game about 5 months ago, the graphics were AMAZING, without post process on, the edges and everything were all very detailed and nice. But now when i play the game, even with post processing on and Edge smoothing, the game isn't very good looking! My object is on high, but bushes, trees, and houses still look fuzzy at about 200m. Did they do something to the graphics that I failed to read in changelogs? O_o

Hello there, been playing DayZ for about 7 months now. There has always been a problem that frustrates me, is the graphics don't look very good! When I look at YouTube videos e.g. FrankieOnPcIn1080p or BlackOut, there graphics look really good! Yet in my game, my colors are a bit grayish (full blood and health), the graphics look like they are shimmering, the edges don't look as well filled in either. Grasses near me and houses keep changing as if they are rendering differently every second! Specs: i5-4570 8gb ram GTX 760 AA is on high, FXAA very high, no post proccessing Objects normal Terrain Normal What could be causing these weird graphics? They make the game annoying to play If you need anything please ask!

Anyone have popping/flickering graphics? e.g. When you look at a window, it keeps flickering on and off, as if its not sure it wants to render itself.... Or trees and grasses around you, it feels as if they keep changing and flickering....? Anyone have similar problems/solution?

Desktop i5-4570 GTX 770 8GB RAM SSD? Yes 1920x1080 I run the game now at about 40 fps but with Rendering all off shadows all off and clouds off, objects on normal textures both on High. Getting about 35 FPS in a city Was wondering should I be looking at better graphics with 35 fps in cities? Or is this a normal fps for what kind of graphics I'm running? Cause the game does not look very good with these graphics =\

Damn, was at berezino doing some hero work, got owned by a new spawn who I suspect found a shotgun and shells right off the bat. I got trapped in a stairwell, and that shotgun just beat my m4 easily, since he broke my leg on the first shot LOL. Server lag and 3rd person were pretty stronk too thought :P

Welp, I spawned back in berezino, apparently this guy favors a mosin to m4, and forgot to hide my body. Took the m4, found him with his friend chatting and blasted his ass. Got sniped right after but was worth WORTH

Hi, when I run, objects in the distance kind of flicker (about 200 meters?), and it feels as though the lines aren't fully drawn in. Also, people/zombies at about 200 meters are only a couple of pixels, very hard to see. my pc specs are good, i5-4570 8gb ram GTX 760 1900x1080 Can you tell me what the problem is? I've seen it happen once in CommanderPixel's video, but then I didn't see it again at about 26:05, but it is ALOT worse. Sorry if it's unclear, kinda hard to explain

I'm sorry if I seem a bit agitated, but there has been a problem that I've posted twice and there has not been a reply on how to fix this. I have seen some people have the same problem: The lines of edges seem to be moving quite alot when moving, and when I'm standing still, the edges seem incomplete. It isn't a problem with post processing as I have turned that on and off without any change, Vsync doesn't make a change either. I haven't modifed any CFG files while my system specs are pretty high. What I experience can be seen in this Youtube Clip Please help...As it does hinder playing and hurts my eyes =\

I run dayz sa on i5-4570 gtx 760 1920x1080 on a 23" monitor. It looks like the players at a distance look like they don't have enough pixels for them? For example, a person at 250+ meters sometime only have the tops of their bodies, but if I change position, they may have one leg with a bit of their bodies. Or like the thin satellite poles on top of the Air control tower at the airfields, it looks incomplete? It looks kinda like this ----> ____ _ ___ ____ ____ _ Can someone help? :(

Since Berenzino has been the new killing ground for fresh spawns, I have needed to change my bandit hunting from Electro to Berenzino. Thing is, how do you counter bandits in Berenzino? Lots of them camp on the apartment buildings and they are usually impossible to penetrate, unless you have 1 or 2 more people with you ( this is considering they are not dumb and will occasionally look around for people and not tunnelling on one spot.) How do you counter these bandits?! I have tried today and successfully got on top of the roof, and saw a bandit on the other side. But then as we were doing the third person stare off, another guy came up from behind and I had to turn my attention to him, resulting in the other guy standing up and shooting me down. SO, HOW DO YOU PLAY HERO IN BERENZINO? :)

Hmmm, so I think everyone has the same idea, get a LRS to countersnipe those campers! But a will need to try out all of these locations, since it is always possible of bambis just coming up and punching you, causing them to know your location!

It just happens in game, like the edges of the building are weird, its not as if it isn't smooth, its more like the lines are flickering. My video settings ingame are : Rendering section all disable Objects: Normal Terrain: Normal Clouds: Off Shadows: Off Video Memory: Auto Textures are both Very High My PC is fine I think, and I think my drivers are up to date! Sorry, don't know what else to give =\

I was fully geared up and ran from NE airfield down to Berenzino, cause my plan was to help people on my way to the south. My first kill was in the yellow police station, when I walked up the stairs, I found someone camping there waiting for me with a mosin, thankfully he missed and I killed him with my M4. After looting his body and giving the Mosin with a Long range scope I found at NE, I gave it to a new spawn that thought I was a KOS bandit. But here comes the fun part, I find another new spawn running from a zombie while bleeding from every pore on his body. I bandage him up and give him my fireaxe. He says something that was pretty suspicious, " Hey lets go and find my new spawn buddy, he's just right over at this office across the road." Suddenly I here a mosin shooting at us! Luckily this guy was a bad shot and missed 2~3 times. I here my new spawn buddy yell out he found him inside the piano house upstairs. I go up and down this bandit in a mere 3 seconds, as he was probably expecting a slow approach by me. New spawn buddy asks if he could take his mosin, THIS WAS WHERE I FUCKED UP. I trusted him fully, since he helped me take down a bandit. He says there is a STANAG 30 round clip on him, and says I should go loot it. Just as I take the mag, BOOM, YOU ARE DEAD Apparently, this was the guy I killed earlier at the police station, and get this! He blames me for killing him. This was a pretty fun experience for me :P Definitely worth all the time gearing up, makes me want to play this game more!

Is the cross bow damage a bit weak? I mean it doesn't one shot kill someone that doesn't have any clothes, and doesn't two shot kill someone with armor, isn't it kind of weak AND unrealistic? Will this be another useless weapon, since you can't even compare it with a pistol? I mean since right now, there isn't any animals, shouldn't you put in hunting/survival first BEFORE you put in these guns meant to do those things =\ Dunno just my own opinion

Yeah, what I mean for the petition was, I agree with it! And apparently a lot of people agree too. I have read the changelog, that's why I wanted to make this post as sort of a rant, PLEASE don't make this weapon useless, I mean the sporter was a fail gun too, since they released it when we didn't have anything to hunt, zombies could still hear it from the same distance away, and PVPing with it is essentially asking to die.

So in the new patch, CHANGING SERVERS IS 600 SECONDS? Isn't this a bit overboard? I want to change servers cause the one I joined is very bad and laggy ----- Wait 10 minutes I got kicked because high ping ( I go to servers with high ping cause they always seem less stuttery don't know why ) ---------- wait 10 minutes Etc. So in order to prevent server hopping and ghosting, you have to make it so other people that don't do this have to suffer this too? D: I thought the 300 seconds one was pretty good?! is there another way to prevent server hopping or ghosting? :(

Will the akm be in this patch? sorry been looking everywhere and couldn't find anything regarding this
