The items will go away with a server restart atm (servers all have varying restart timers). I haven't played the mod so I can't tell you how it works there because I've heard they got tents.

You made sure you joined back the same hive you were initially in (regular/hardcore)?

I have decent luck finding them in hospitals and civilian houses though I usually die before my blood type even matters lol. I've actually noticed an increased dropped rate over the last few patches.

It is definitely best with 1-2 other friend since when you get to 3+ you end up doing head counts more than anything lol.

My problem is that military spawns are too concentrated along the west side. There's the NWAF, NW base, Zelenogorsk, SW base, then Balota a bit east, all on the left side of the map.

Currently there is no difference between eating pristine vs badly damaged foods.

You must eat/drink (recommend beans, good mix of both) until your char says he's full and get a healing/healthy status. You can speed this process up a bit by having someone use a saline iv on you to fill your blood up a bit.
