I've been playing this game for about a month now & I have only dealt with one hacker who shot me through the stairs at an air control tower when you enter. You shouldn't have this problem much honestly.

I sent you a friend request on steam. I'd have to travel from NEAF but I need to head that way anyway.

I prefer to fist fight to the death. Nothing more exciting then getting knocked out then coming to and seeing the body of the other guy next to you!

Sounds like the guy was glitched inside the wall at the bottom of the firehouse. I'd think if you saw a hacker jumping 30 feet at a time while running then you would be correct.

Alright after several weeks of trial & error in identifying heros from bandits, I've come up with this. EVERYONE is a fricking bandit. You can tell me you're friendly all you want but I've lost faith in anyone in or around Chernarus. Doesn't matter if you're in undies, have a backpack full of 9 volts, walk around the coast giving away free beans, running up bleeding talking about "Help me!" or fully geared out. A gun + a mask = full release from whatever gun I have in my hand currently. I've tried to go with the motto, "Live & let live", but I'm pretty sure who ever came up with that saying was smoking something strong. I'd really love to trust people on this game & have someone prove me wrong for a change but I see no hope for the current state of DayZ.

Honestly I prefer playing in a group. I feel like strength in numbers makes the game less boring during your travels plus a few extra set of eyes on the landscape never hurt as well. 3 to 4 man teams sound idea but I can't wait to play with 8 to 10. Nothing is more relaxing than looting an airfield knowing you have 3 snipers watching your ass. Yay teamwork!

smh I searched first personally but the respawn bug seems to be something popping up a lot & I figured the community would be more helpful but I guess it is a learning experience for new members.

No need to report it when everyone and their mother has been reporting it. I just think it is a crock of shit that someone asks a legit question and the first answer is some asshole saying "Search first". He might be new to the forum, simmer down and have some respect please.

I was killed once walking down the stairs behind my friend who saw a bunny at the bottom & tried to kill it with an axe. Apparently he couldn't kill the bun but he sure as hell killed me.

I'm totally just messing with you buddy. I bet it wasn't even a sniper. Sounds like it was most likely either you hitting something with your fist or a blunt object or another player near you doing the same. If it sounded like a whip cracking then I would say it was a mosin being fired at you. :D

Yep I love how this game gets you heart racing out of no where. I've never had this feeling before in a video game. Also I know the Log out timer exist now but I bet he still tried to log out. lol

Don't lie.....you know you logged out as quick as your fingers could move. :)

Yeah because I wasn't server hopping. I was in a server for 2 hrs & got killed then clicked respawn. I'll never click that button ever again!

I don't think I can hold out til the 12th for a stable release to fix the respawn issue. This bug is literally killing me since I'm stuck in a black screen with 3 words in the middle of the screen no matter what I do. WTH!

I looked for this server but found nothing when putting it into my filter. What to do? Only hive I can play is hardcore currently.

Yeah too bad searching won't help since I've been dead for a day now because of this glitch. I know people say search first but maybe people on here should be more helpful & stop acting like super perfect assholes who never do anything wrong.

I think it would be pretty awesome to find a journal on a player you just killed. You could see what kind of adventures they got into. Plus I think it would be really neat to find a journal that has had several owners.

I've never experienced that before but I imagine the rice forever expanding in your stomach. At least you can play on a public hive. I have to wait until they patch again to get out of the "You are dead" screen, smh

Ok, I have the same problem going on over here as well. I've tried changing my characters name then joining the server I died in to no success. I don't believe my DayZ addiction will let me wait til next wednesday or the wednesday after that to be able to play again. What will I do now Rocket?

Nope I did that in a my first few days but realized it was a horrible idea. Don't get me wrong guys, I've come across several random folks who were trustworthy, but it seems to be a 1 in 20 chance. lol I honestly love the way the game speeds up on player interaction so I promise I'm not complaining.

There is no crying coming from me actually. I'm ok with death. I welcome it. Each respawn is a new adventure. I was just stating what I've seen in my travels in Chernarus. Hope to see you in a server one day. I'll be popping shots off in your general direction for sure.
