Dude... kush, man. toke less, learn more. Google vtac and also vfib, those are the only cases where you'll see results with defibs, maybe a lucky astys, but no, just no man. They need to just be removed because they are beyond hokie and completely arcade. Epi and smelling salts, that's all we need to wake people.

Suggestions like this are why I think they should open up and allow the community to premod and create for the game. I think many people would offer up their designs and submit entries if credit were given knowing they could potentially have a landmark on Chern...don't know, could be wrong, but I'd like to think that would be sufficient and rewarding.

The mod and SA are both meta and immersive, I just don't see a implementation that wouldn't hinder actual knowledge and ability with game knowledge and ability. And that's not even getting into ones ability to teach and pass a skillset or tradecraft.

Books have been suggested before as a source of knowledge to build character depth and value of life. An issue with this is that I already know trauma care and emergency medicine. As my character is an extension of my knowledge base and ability in the sandbox how do you determine which skills aren't "common knowledge" and must be gained? Execution of the "skill books" is where most the issues arise. How do you determine what would be required? With the proper, or even most of the proper, equipment needed someone with time and veins could wing it and learn with little or no knowledge but a vague understanding of the how. Handicapping everyone who hasn't "read" the book but intimately knows the subject material is not a good idea.

Cosmetic only, no additional items. As people above have said, shirt, pants, and shoes. Else it takes away the spirit of day 0 struggles.

While that would work altering game time onto an odd hour would place dayz into it's own time. 21, 23, 25, or 27 hr days and game time would always be different from reality but maintain a similar flow.

Ask a Latvian, Lithuanian, Afghan, or pretty much any place that a conflict took place how well the Russians were at policing up weapons after a conflict. hint: it's below "You've got to be fuckin' kidding me." You ever just throw your arms up in the air, say "fuck it, I'm out.", and turn around and walk the other way? Russians started that ;p

I've found mags and ammo in construction sites many times, figured there was a slim chance of a firearm but never scored one. Schools have always spawned firearms/ammo/attachments, top floor room and on the roof. All prior to the update btw.

Side note, ruined box of ammo still unwraps into pristine rounds ;p

I've still got my skill/trade craft books, three or four of them. I can thumb through and post relevant medical causes/treatment/care. If you're interested let me know, is more advanced stuff than CLS.
