The current rules are set to help with development of the game, eventually those rules will be lifted. Right now the only benefits to renting a server is "Thank You" from us the players and also to get your name/clan known.

Just a thought, but since you spawned in a city is there a chance there was a group already there and you spawned on them and they shot you? Your body shows up way before you can see anything. Could be a hacker, but Electro is a busy place. -
