Too many times have I seen this happen. People don't even know how to properly bandit in this game. Bandit's typically don't straight out murder then loot, it's usually ambush, rope/handcuff,K.O or what have you, and if you don't comply with their orders then they shoot you.

Topkek/10 would read again. When will people understand that until Zeds are a threat the only thing to do in this game is kill people. Surviving has no rewards, neither does being a hero, a bandit, or a murderer(koser). And you can literally get geared in the blink of an eye, so in all reality you have nothing to lose or to gain but only to take pride in nothing you caused some unfortunate snap maybe an hour or so of his time when you kill them.

Entire post is babies. I turn them into a punching bag. Do a Fight Club Zed Edition. It's pretty easy to kill a big group of zeds since they will hit each other and all you gotta do is aim for the head. Punch and kite.

People will always KoS. When I get bored and wanna die in Day Z it's what I do. Go out with a bang. I don't see how they can "prevent" KoS when they already have to were if you get shot once half their stuff is instantly ruined. But some people don't care, or are shitty bandits thinking nothing won't get ruined.

You do realize once respawning loot happens, this will solve this issue right? Until then you better just get used to this happening. Sorry to put it so bluntly

I want a level action rifle in this game so badly. I have a 30-30 lever action IRL and it made fall in love with them.

I would consider it combat logging since there could of be a high chance for another fight happening. After the first kill, I would of relocated due to the chance of him having friends, coming back to his body with more gear

I voted D because it's the only response close to what I do. Normally I avoid people unless I have to interact. But if I say something and then they draw their weapon, I kill. I don't wait to give them another chance. But if they comply, I holster my weapon and chat them up, give them some food and water/soda, ask where they are headed to give them a heads up on what might be in their way.

Yeah okay because it's not a very smart reliable choice to send a 2 man team to ensure the job gets done effectively with no casualties eh? Do you even read what you type? The spotters job is to provide correction so the sniper just has to aim and shoot at long ranges, not to mention provide information on wind speed and direction, and help calculate the bullet drop over a long distance.

So a me and a buddy were meeting up in Elektro, both of us were decently geared ( Each had SKS 60+ rounds, sidearms/shotties.) to find our friend and head north. Well we see some guy on top of the school shooting at bambis, so we figured we'd flank and take out the hostile target. We get on top of Sniper HIll and we can see him clear as day and this is were the story gets real sad. We begin to lag, nothing bad just a bit here and there while shooting this guy, we hit him a few times but he survived and combat logged then came back. Upon coming back we begin to lag something fierce, including our friend who's not to far from us as well. So like smart people we retreat over the hill, to regroup and log out because we kept locking up. Now before I could do anything my game locked up and when it stopped for a second, I see I am dead which is impossible, because my friends were still a live next to me. Kinda pissed me off because we were doing something good, and we lock up and I die from the lag. Not the first time this has happened either. Anyone else wanna share any stories regarding this?

The fuck did I just read. You're seriously saying anyone in camo clothing is automatically labeled as a KoSer? Honestly that in itself makes KoSing even worse. I wear camo gear because I travel a lot though the forests, and do hit and runs in cities. Putting a label on clothing and saying KoS anyone with this on is by far the most idiotic thing to do. I've met plenty of people who were friendly wearing, full military camo w/ gas mask and I shouted friendly and shouldered my gun, never once been shot doing that.

It's called get a damn friend. Snipers are usually paired with another sniper or support for a reason. They spot for each other, and cover each other. Very rarely do snipers get deployed on their own. Me and a good friend do this for each other. We roll with SKS' with PU scopes, or iron sights to really test ourselves. Alternate shots, give proper corrections, and watch targets drop. And if we have another person with us, they usually carry a mosin with a LRS to cover anything about 300m
