why is nearly everyone thinking this is so a bad idea? if there are some NO KOS or PVE only server NOONE!!!!!!!! will force you to join and if people want to play the game the friendly way let them play it friendly!!! So stupid people think: "OH NO.. this game isn't fun anymore without shooting everyone instantly. You will ruin the game with No Kos mimimi" I say shut it and let the people decide if they want to play friendly ( on a friendly server) or not friendly Auto kick/ban for players kiling players on a friendly server would be awesome! my character is saved on the servers... ^^ so i can change between some server and have a good equiped character (alsways the same character) and on other servers i spawn as a Bambi -

So I have now like 2 characters? one on the servers that are connected to the central hive and one on the servers with connection issues right? And I will lose my character on the connection issues servers? Terminatus -

I'm glad you work so hard to make the game work for us players. :) So just a quick question.. when I joined a server with connection issues and played a character there I will lose this character and have to start with a new one right? Best Regards Terminatus -
Hey everyone I just updated DayZ and lost my character (like i thing nearly everybody). But additional I have a different name in DayZ now ( the name of my computer / my last name) How can I change it back to my Steam Name? cheers Terminatus

So can I actually get a lost character back if I still have the Player data saved on my computer? Character didn't die.. just when I spawned I was some new character -

Hey.. I was fully equiped and somewhere in the far west an then i started with nothing on the beach. so I think have kind of the same problem but i got a complet reset. I didn't played on my own computer with the new character so is there a chance to get my old one back? And since the update i have a lots of more bugs. Anyone else with the same problem? -
If someone is on a "no bandit" "friendly only" or "no kos" server or if admins set this rules AND you don't want that just join another Server and let the People that want to play together just play the game the way they want to. O.o Nobody forces you to go on one of the maybe 2 % no kos servers in the serverlist. Even without PvP it can be fun just to SURIVE what is in the end the goal of the game.. because even without PvP you can get hungry, thirsty, sick, cold....

Hey all together I have a health problem again I think. After i ate and drink so much my stomach was full and all colors are back my screen is still not sharp and blurred. What does this mean and how can I get rid of it? Thanks Terminatus

Like I said, I don't had any status message ;) I did this already then the colors return. ( Was in a city for about 1 hour looking for supplies and kept the message upcoming for maybe 2 hours) But like I said. I pressed "esc" then Video and everything is fine now :) I'll look for some Antibiotica or the Tincture just in case. I thought when my wounds are infected i also get the status message "sick". Maybe I just need a blood transfusion ;)

I filled my stomach yesterday and the shade of grey disappered but the blur is still there. so i'm poisened without getting a sick message? :/

I don't have any status message in my character menu. The Vision is just Blurred but all colors are existing. :/

Hi guys, I'm new to the game and have one question now. My screen is kind of colorless, everything seems to has a touch of grey. I'm not bleeding and I ate a lot (about 4 cans of food) has anyone an idea what the problem is? In the last time i fought against 5 Walker and fell maybe 2 meter from the first floor.
