So with the spawn points all being on the east coast how has this changed your tactics when you first start out? Im relatively new to the game and reading all the guides they all talk about balota but now being on the east coast a bit away from balota where are people going to get the first set of gear? Inland to small towns or hitting a big city quickly and then heading to a airfield or base?

the last few times ive spawned in kamyshovo and its normally full of loot and only has a zombie or 2 and once theyre dead the whole towns mine to loot i got 2 maps and a compass on the last spawn and alcohol and a can opener from it I was really suprised and I tried elektro but was KOS'd when i tried sneaking into a factory unarmed

So noob question here but every respawn today was on the east side of the map where as last week all the respawns had been and the south west side of the map is there a daily spawn side or is it really random?

So I got fully equipped in balota barracks and was making my way west to hit some towns when I fell off a ledge and died so I respawned somewhere new and went wandering into town because I was pissed and got 2 zed chasing me decided to have some fun and started fist fighting them and after bout 3 minutes of punching both were there dead. Didnt think it was possible without some good clothes atleast or armor but I'm curious if anyone else fist fights zombies sometimes and if they are successful or not?

are they planning on expanding it back to the way it was before or is this the way it will always be?

did they really move it so you can only spawn on the east coast now?

So im kinda new I guess I've died a bunch but in all the time I've spent looting balota and the military base just north of there Ive found least a dozen m4s but not a single mosin I've even found half a dozen pistols but still no mosin and on my current character ive got a pristine long range scope but no mosin. . . any tips where to find them? And I found a northwest chernarus map and an east chernarus map but it doesnt show my position like I thought it would, and yes Im on the far eastern edge bottom right corner so I should appear on the east map I thought. . .

yeah i think it got turned off I couldnt find my circle and I was using the db map to pin exactly where I was but the topography on the ingame maps were more useful really

never played dayz mod how do the tents work do they really conceal you really well seems like they would be obvious

I tried running into cherno and killed 2 to start with my fists then found a splitting axe and had 2 jump me i was swinging at them but they wouldnt go down and got killed lol

your quide was super helpful but i read in there about the maps and im wondering I have a map of east chernarus but my location isnt showing up on it and i know where on the map i am cause of the dayzdb but i would like it if i didnt have to keep switching to chrome to check the map

it took a while for the first one but once you get the hang of it its pretty easy I found thinking about running into one of the big cities and seeing how long i last with my fists

noob question here but I keep hearing people talking about hives can someone explain what a hive is??

I just aimed for the head and they really didnt hurt me too bad and I wasnt running around or nothing just standing there hitting them I was dumbfounded I lived I found its alot easier in first person than in third

cars?? and like in small towns in the houses or under beds in houses? and is there a hospital in the military base just north of kamenka I was wandering in a building I had never been in before and didnt know if it was a hospital or not it was 4 stories and had halls with a few rooms on each floor but didnt look like a hospital

So I was wondering what exactly is battleeye and is there a way to tell if a server doesnt use battleeye or not because all the servers that are battleeye enabled I cannot play on atm?

where do I agree to the license I never remember agreeing to a license?

Okay so to sum it up I bought the game the first week it was out and had been playing it daily up until battleeye client was put on the servers and since then not only does it take ages to connect and go through the whole wait for host(usually 5-10 minutes) but then once im in the gme nothing actually works i cant use anything and I cant move without lagging like mad and desyncing like crazy. If i try to hit tab it freezes for 20 secs or so then brings up my inventory but i cant do anything with it. I've tried dropping graphics all the way down and turning off my firewall but none of that seems to work. any suggestions?
