hmmm... i just got hit twice by a zombie, but no bleed and no ruined gear. maybe i just got lucky. i like faster zombies, but they still track your character poorly when you circle around them, wich is fine i guess until the feel of the melee is improved further. it's still sometimes quite hard to figure the reach and hit-location of the axe swing. also the spawns are still crazy, but i think the current spawning system is definetly not what they are planning to go for, though, since i remember Rocket saying that you should be able to clear an area from zeds. -
it's quite simple, actually; strafe, strike, rinse, repeat.

well to be honest, that just explains the issue that needs to be fixed, but it doesn't actually answer the reason why it's not already fixed, like the topic name suggests. i get that there's still lot of towns/buildings/rooms to be added to the game, but couldn't they just adjust the roadway as they make the content? there's propably a good reason why they are not doing it, but i was just wondering, since Rocket mentioned that it's "not a huge job" to implement it. -

yes. pistols and m4 should be more accurate than a sniper rifle, because that's the reality. atleast here in Idreamalotterville. i couldn't shoot a butterfly at 800 meters with M4. totally unrealistic bullshit. -

New patch unplayable due to constant "session lost" problems

maximum session lenght after update has been ~30min before i get kicked out. sometimes it occurs in less than 5min after joining server. ok, so i could rejoin or change server, right? no sir! the server-hopping timer is then initiated! on top of that, my DayZ just crashed for the very first time. -
it would be strange to find top-tier military loot in some random cabin. then again, it's a post-apocalyptic world, so you should expect the unexpected... if there would be random loot it would then make sense to search every building. now you just pass many of them, cos you know there's never anything worthwhile to be found in some certain building types. every pianist in Cherno is a hunter, i guess :)

hmmmm strange. i find it to be less delayed now, and i like it more now how it behaves indoors. still glad to hear they are reworking it from scratch

oh yeah! that would be so cool. currently they are tracking your character pretty poorly, and there seems to be sort of delay, so as long as you keep moving, it doesn't matter if theres 10 zombies around you. they just can't hit you :)

i've also noticed that you can find some serious artillery in the piano house now. so much Mosins <3

yeah well i think it's all good but it's not very logical at the moment. they should make the zombies grab you and bite Resident Evil style, wich would make more sense to cause the bleeding. then again, i don't know if it would work because you lose the ability to control the character for a brief moment. would make zeds harder in good way, though.

i can only play on one certain providers servers without any problems (DGUK) after some testing, i noticed that other servers simply don't work for me after the new patch (massive desync/lag before session lost), but those servers work every single time.

actually hard to say how good it is, since there's been so much network bullshit going after the patch. we'll see when it's fixed.

pristine rotten is quite funny. is it actually MORE rotten then if it contains pristine rot? anyway, they should just add one more condition to the normal fruits. you know, normal tomato that has rotten condition.

i found that gun too, but never found ammo for it. died, respawned and almost instantly found .22 ammo...
