We NEED some way to identify heros and bandits.

how the hell could the game or other player ever know wether i'm going to go full-bandit or full-jesus when i meet someone? because i do both, depending on my mood. that's what makes the beans taste so sweet in this game; you never know. -
there are lots of different stages of alpha ffs... this is early alpha. they also could've realeased this later on as a more "complete" alpha, but i'm glad they didn't, cos i'm enjoying it already.

according to a recent Gamespot article Rust is even more buggy than DayZ, so go figure... quote: "As of now, DayZ feels like a much more complete experience. Rust has promise, but it's very rough around the edges." Rust looks like a mess to me from all the videos i've seen, and i generally like more what DayZ is doing. Rust seems like a Mincraft-like survival-lego-game for kids, but DayZ has more atmospheric real-world feel to it. apparently people need to be reminded often about this being alpha when so many "WTF THIS GAME HAS BUGS?!?!"-type of threads show up.

mmmmm paint and shotguns and saws and and... awwwsummm! more = more. can't wait to paint the crap out of my mosin. it's gonna be ugly as hell <3 i would also like to chop zombies with a pink axe someday. can i paint anything else in the game at this point yet? like, handcuff a guy and then paint he's lips with a shade of seduction-red and then maybe slide my hand under that yellow raincoat and... wait uhh sry you were still reading. nevermind. -
just 1 hour timer would be sufficient. no point waiting for an hour for new spawn since you'd run there faster anyway. i don't see the point of including getting killed by a hostile players. why would you need a new spawn point then? just change server if you don't want to get spawn-raped again. there's a chance you'd spawn back to same place anyways.

including an average surviving time would do something about that too.

Every time you change server, your location would be randomized, and it would never be directly at high-yield area. Fresh spawn still being at somewhere in the coast. You could only be able to keep your exact location if you connect back to the same server you were on previously. edit: actually, this might cause travel-hopping. maybe randomly around certain area, but the point being that it wouldn't allow spawning directly to high-yield area.

A suggestion that could change the way everyone plays dayz and add more realism.

it would be downright impossible to define wether you kill for a genuine survival instinct or self-defence, or just for fun because you are mentally unstable. situations vary so much in this game. -
join a server -> friend comes online and asks to play with you, but the server you are on is full -> can't go to another server either

Would it be impossible? I can imagine it's a huge effort considering the size, but if they get enough funding and meet the current goals successfully. I'm talking about past beta here. It would greatly increase the longevity of this game. What do you think?

yeah i mean they worked on the mod with a fairly small team, right? now they have Bohemia behind them and fairly nice cash flow with successful sales of DayZ, so i just thought they could have some more resources now to make stuff happen.

so... when someone spawns into a high yield area, it means no loot for anyone from there because of this one guy? or this one guy can't see all the sweet loot that everyone else would see? this is a tricky one.

oh ok, i didn't know it was quite THAT time consuming... maybe if they can hire some super efficient team to it now with their well earned beans money? :P
