    There are a lot of bandits that will kill you after taking all your stuff anyway, so the threat of death is moot. It doesn't take long to get decent stuff at the moment, so if you are on your own it's actually more entertaining starting over at this point in time. I'd rather go down guns blazing, rather than give someone that kind of power over me! That said, it would be interesting to see how things pan out if I surrendered.
