Hey, I see the problem that currently persistence is a one-week thing, if at all. Having a truck is truely nice and add a lot of fun. I als play ~ one year now and I see the progress is getting better last months. But for me the fact that it is not possible to have something like an objective like getting a "Home" with some tents and trucks is a problem. Don't get me wrong, I like the new things coming into the game, but I would also think adding a few useful things like a storage or additional seats would be nice in the next updates. At least you could have some more social living with other survivors if you can interact with them like taking them for a ride or something. Would be a compensation to not being able to have "home" there, as I guess this will still take a while. Greetings

I like the fact it is whitelisted! <3 I played on RP Server yesterday, the server is running very smooth and stable. Hopefully we get some more ppl to join :-)

If you set your RP Server to Whitelist we will join with 4-5 ppl. Unfortunately "no KOS" is a dream on public...

Thanks. Yes I know that ;-) But I am not interested in public 40/40 Servers where u get a Fire Axe in your face because a kid decided to teleport to you. We are looking for a community private shard Server where we all know each other and the risk of having hackers is reduced a lot and also have a community to plan e. g. Role Play Events or smth.

Hi, not sure if I am allowed to write in German in the forum so I do it in english. Me and ~ 4-5 friends are looking for a German community Server best case with a wthitelist. We are tired of getting killed by hackers over and over again teleporting from out of nowhere. So we are looking for a, in the best case, German private shard to have some fun. Most of the Servers listed here seem to be in US so maybe there are any German or EU Servers having some room. TY Greetings

I guess they can kill it. But I am not sure how they caught it cause animals run very fast when you try to get close to them. I never can catch them with my hands for example.

Never trust anyone. Simple like that. I mean... we do not have a appocalypse in rl and I still do not trust ppl really that I dont know. Except my postman he seems to be a cool guy.

Currently IMO the game is much too easy regarding finding food and water. Since you can hunt (which seems to be the best way to Keep yourself stuffed as it is causing "energized" + "hydrated") I do not even loot beans and things like that. Whenever I respawn I can get the Basic equipment to be able to go hunting in ~ 1h playtime. So currently it is to casual IMO and has not soooo much to do with an appocalyptic game. If you can go in each house or supermarket find almost everywhere Food, Drinks, and so on... I don't know. I would like to see less often spawn of Basics and make it harder to survive. Currently it is just: Spawn -> get a weapon -> PVP ... Also I would like too see the wipes to be gone as well as random Server restarts. But the MOST important Point is to finally do something against all those hackers. They just really ruin the game currently...

Yesterday I was was travelling from Cherno to Elektro and just wanted to pass the City and see if there is some Action. When I came in a freshspawn was running straight to me and tried to kill me. BEfore I said "Hello, do you Need some Food or smth, can I help?" So... I do not really like the shoot on sight behavior, I more like the role Play aspect in DAyZ. Unfortunately most of the community seems to handle the game like Call of Duty or whatever.

well what I know, because I lost two tents already, Standard serves will despawn your tent after restart. Only persistent Servers "should" save your items. But I am not sure if u Need to find them on this server or if you can bring a tent from a Standard Server onto a persistent one to save it there. the Problem is either most of the serves are fake, because they state it would be persistent but it is not.. (mentioned that I lost tents and a lot of stuff on those Servers). Also those persistent Servers (official once) are mostly empty at least for EU Region. And I am afraid to join another non-official Server because I dont trust them and don't want to loose again my stuff becuase they Name their Server incorrect,.

Hi guys, I am back to the game after ~ 4 month. I am glad to see so many new implementations and fixes. It is really a lot of fun again and I am totally looking Forward to the new DayZ engine coming. I read a bit about the new Kind of serbvers, called persistent. To be honest I am not sure if I understood correct how they work. Maybe I just write down what I understood and you could help me anserwing some questions or correct me if I am wrong. 1. Persistent Servers save ALL loot on the Server from all sources QUESTION: also items I found on another Server and bring them to a persistent Server - Tent e. g. ? 2. I was on 3 different persistent Servers none saved the items neither external nor direct server loot. Anybody knows what could be the reason? 3. Are there any good persistent Servers (Europe) ? All I found were empty or it seems they were fake Servers (stating to be persistent but aren't really) 4. I recognized there was no loot on any place on one persistent Server I joined. IS there still this Item drop hack working like a magnet which causes all items to dissapear at their origin Location? 5. How does new loot or loot respawn on persistent Servers? Hi, Here is G-Series Autorun script.It gets startet With pressing G1. If you want to change the G-Key number go to this line if event == "G_PRESSED" and arg == 1 then and change the ! into another number. Enjoy. Eplanation: Open your logitech gaming software Go to the profiles section Right click on your DayZ profile > click 'scripting' Paste the following into the new 'DayZ - Script' window that just appeared. If it only has the default script then you can delete it and completely replace it. Save the default script into notepad before deleting it if your worried about making a mistake. If you have a custom script already in there then you should know how to add this below bit in. Go to the 'Script' menu up the top > click 'Save'. You should get a message below that says something like "(11:06:33) Script Loaded (DayZ)". If there are extra lines or if it says something else the script may be wrong. Test in Dayz. It can be slightly fiddly if you press forward and this button at the same time as it will make you sprint. It's pretty easy to get used to though and works pretty well. Hope it saves some of you some pain.
