Everyone has the right to play however he wants. But if you tell your story here, you gotta live with the fact, that you hear opinions about it and your behavior. Well if you want to share a story, make it so that people will read it. I doubt, that a lot of people will read that wall of text...so no sharing, point missed. Don't use the term "bandit". A bandit would have tried to rob and not only murder. -

No. Just no. You never HAVE to suicide before you can "start to play". Just spawn and start playing no mattern where you are...I ahve never suicided a char and still made it work. Just don't stick always to the same route...if you spawn somewhere, make the best out of it, instead of suiciding or running to the spawn point where you hoped you would spawn... -

Well, one doesn't go without the other, because if you get a reward for surviving longer and it is gone when you die, death is more punishment... As omgwtf said..the devs stated in the Q&A from the 20.02 this: ...but however, this will be in for a lot of things, but not for any combat-related. Edit: hm.....I was thinking about a timer that only comes into play if you die within an hour of spawning, but, well...that would only encourage the coastsnipers ;) Well "extensive player interaction with the environment" can eman anything. From hunting to barricading, to building, to repairing vehicles to cutting down trees. (And at least the first 4 things have been confirmed to be in sooner or later)...so...yeah. :) -

Wont work in Version .42, from the changelog: Medical: Player could vault with broken legs Is already announced :) But you will need either a pistol, a gun or a knife (i thin k bayonett will work as well) to get the option. -

If you have no idea what you are speaking about...don't speak. Look at my signature. Read it. Think about it. Gearing up is TOO fast. Even if you don't hop servers you can be set (gun+ammo, better clothes, backpack, food etc.) in an hour at least. Even on experimental. Additionally: You don't get a heart attack from running too much (otherwise my exp chars where all dead due to this reason). Vehicles need physics+crafting to be implemented. The health system is worked on and everything that works will become part of the Alpha because....testing. Same goes for barricading, physics, cooking, hunting....whatever. Tip: Go west. And I DON'T mean only NWAF. (everytime i say "go west", people run NWAF for no reason...and i hear the petshop boys...damn it) -

Is it weird that i pictured you as the families chihuahua? o.o And since you only want to annoy people (ingame as in the forum as it seems) but fail here miserably, i suggest you go back to the coast, killing freshspawns... Edit: Yeah I know...not really on topic...but after the 563th KoS thread (this time about the reaction) it gets boring... -

It is NOT allowed....but cheater will always be a problem (hopefully a minor), because...well there is (afaik) NO online game without cheater, just keep the number low, that's all that can be asked for. ANd BattlEye bans in waves. That means: All these funny guys have 2-3 days, maybe 4 until the next BE banwave comes... And there are already some threads about these issues...ad if you really want to make the devs aware of something use the bugtracker :) Dont be SO helpful Irish... And the sign (if you read cyrillic letters as latin ones) actually says kambiwobo...and you know its kamyshovo, don't be useless. -

a]Never heard anyone say that. I mean, yeah, there are a few threads here concerning hacking but 80% of them are probably desync/lag issues and the other 20% are about real hackers... b]Meh. Part of the game. And I don't think that they will get upset about their death but about the lack of interaction - rob them and leave them handcuffed. Or break them a leg after you robbed them. There are far mor entertaining things (for me) than KoS. But whatever floats your boat. c]Well...sort of lame. I have killed fresh spawns that tried to PoS me (srsly? Do you think I wear that motorcycle helmet because I LIKE it? ...and in the meantime i'm wearing a green hard helmet ;)) , but otherwise? Hm....for me it would be no fun to kill a freshspawn that doesn't try to attack me (and btw. killing a freshspawn really has no reason, because you can't even get anything from them...), so you do it to annoy people (like the other things) well. Also a way to plaay a sandbox game. Like I said: Whatever floats your goat. ...and that emotions are ignited so fast in this game, speaks for it's immersive power ;) -

So...10 FPS with Zombies that are not interested in the player as long as he doesn't shoot?^^ Just joking, i'd also like more Zs...as anybody ;) but atleast, they should go for the player...^^ I don't say that I don't believe you, but I have never actually SEEN a zombie spawn. Last times I shot at them (Svetlo, electro and Zeleno) they spawned somewhere out of my sight and came running around corners, and when I kill them with my hoe or my pitchfork (nobody needs a axe anymore ;)) I haven't neither seen them spawn nor did any Z come to kill me afterwards. So maybe I have either to camp somewhere or I am lucky - or you've bad luck regarding Z spawn. And from the changelog: So...yeah, I also don't want to "see" a Z spawn in front of me when I kill one silently. But it's already stated, that it's worked on, so why the rage? Chill out, relax and wait... at least the first 2 points will be in the game, i'm pretty sure. For the last one...hm... yeah, might also happen? I have to say about that last point i haven't heard anything.... And why the spawning is in, in this form (apart from the millions of QQ posts "I thought this was a ZOMBIE game" etc. etc.)....to test the system. Because in it's core it will stay the same (zombie dead? Spawn new zombie!), so it's not a placeholder it's...well...an alpha ;) Zombie-respawn-early-access-alpha-experimental. But yeah, -

Gear up, then suicide - the cycle of Day z

First, I like the suggestions (even if all of them were already mentioned in some sort), so don't egt that commetn als defending or putting you down or whateverm, I just have a look what is planned as said by the devs... Hunting+cooking+building (persistent barricading as first step) will be added, first 2 soon (maybe next exp patch? Maybe that one after that), barricading soon after, building will last a bit longer With respawning Zs the first step has been done - it's very hard to survive if you start shooting in a city ;) What is missing here is the new Z AI which is worked on and a better Z pathfinding (maybe give them the ability to climb ladders, so they can get those damn roof-snipers as well ;) Lootable food will be lowered (I can already feel the tears of rage that will stream like a river in this forum when it happens) when hunting+cooking is implemented, Water that is not purified or cooked will have a chance to make you sick, so that "drink from well until hydrated" -times may be over soon as well ;) And getting scurvy as you suggested (the diet thing^^)? Great idea. I hope something like this is planned Random ilnesses...well...you will get diseases from Z attacks that made you bleed (that's confirmed), and amybe even when you are in damp clothes+cold (new modifier for body temperature which is coming) Is planned as rocket confirmed. There will be no skill points to be distributed by the player, but a passive skill system (think of skyrim-passive skills)....the example that he gave was: You will not be able to repair ruined or badly damaged items when you spawn. But if you repair enough damaged items, you may get good enough to repair badly damged items, and some time later if you stay alive that long, even ruined items. Same for clothes, maybe even cooking...but "battle" skills will not be affected afaik. In long term view (think base building and vehicles) this skills will be even more useful...if the only tires you find are ruined... here is, where I see some more potential. Maybe adding some kind of mechanic skill for repairing cars, doctor skill for giving infusions/taking blood (was suggested in the suggestions sub often) etc. etc. So...thinks are looking good, if the devs can keep their promises :) -

I really hope you did not response to my post in that way or you just don't know what you write or my english i worse than I thought. When you write "In summary, just because a game is Alpha does not mean it can be excused for everything." and I answer with a quote saying "DayZ Early Access Alpha: Feature development, during which the vast majority of major bugs are created/occur." And after that come back with that answer, You should REALLY think about what you write or at least read the things you answer to. Did I defend the game? No Did I say it is flawless? No. Did I...wel basically anthing you wrote? no. You said "being alpha is not an excuse for everything" - but regarding the issues - character wipes - spoken about in this thread, it is, as you said yourself in the second paragraph. Criticism is ok. But whining helps nobody. Learn the difference between these two things. Or don't quote me and answer with such a mess of a post. -
