Hoarding doesn't make a survival game in my opinion. Im sure there will be plenty of time for that when the games finished and server hosts can alter the loot/vehicle options to your hearts content. You think you wont get looted every day when the pop goes upto 100/150 people? I know people have things that they are used to from the mod but personally for now id be happy with item respawns, and for that matter I think a good mechanic would be to be able to burn down tents and burn out bases (for the bases just gutting them not destroying totally) anyway looking forward to this going stable, peace out. ;) -

As a matter of fact all the people I now play dayz with have 'explored' 150% more than on a mod with vehicle's. Vehicle's are very far from needed and tend to get hoarded anyway so bugger to that idea cars and boats will come when they are ready. What you need to do sir is get off the cherno factory roof and go for a walk through the countryside. Personnaly id settle for gear respawns over any other bug fix but am quite content to wait until its ready (but secretly praying its in the next patch) but im not in charge so ill make best use of the tools I have at my disposal until Rocket and Co deliver me a new toolkit. It stands to reason that when alive soilders are fitter and stronger than the average joe bloggs, in death some of their strength remains, which, in my opinion makes looting milatarized areas more of a risk making for a better ingame experience. -

From my experience any weapon including fists are all effective used properly. The best way to use the poorer weapons is in first person aiming directly at the head. Also I dont count knives/screwdrivers as weapons they to me are just can openers. And if im confronted by an armed assailant with anything other than an axe to hand I always 1st person fist to the head, just preference but iv survived more encouters and won more lootwith a few right hooks rather than the aaforementioned bats and shovels

If you have arma oa do the shooting range tutorial, teaches zeroing on moving targets gives you a feel for visual distance ie that's how big a guy looks 500 mts away. Also find a quiet spot with your scoped weapon and say pick a tree or window in the distance, set a zeroing amount and get a feel for your weapon ingame and gauge the distance. For example sniper hill in elektro, hit some at the school, hospital, church, fire station and far industry behind fire station. Remember that the further you shoot the longer your bullet takes to reach the target. Once you have emptied a clip or 2 you should know, visually ingame the rough distance of what your aiming at.

pal, what your saying is the same thing I said to the guy I quoted, but in a much more game centric manner. Please dont assume im the one expecting everything now because im a guy patiently waiting for this house to be built.Edit: and I can compare it to the building of anything, anything made has processes that need to be followed to end up with the finished product, car, house, alacarte meal...... They all start messy and grow/get made into something we desire, please read and fully understand what you're commenting on before posting, merely skimming a post wont give you the full information. ;) -

Seriously, people adding items and artwork and gun magic (bullet physics or some weirding way) are not the guys coding zombie behavior or camera issues (by the way me like many have never had camera issues) again ill use a building analogy the bricklayer building the face of the house DOSENT wire it up and DOSENT plaster the walls they are all seperate PROCESSES that once COMPLETE create the FINAL product. You have paid for the FOUNDATIONS Of a finished product. Yes you can say I dont like how you do that, please change it but you can not DEMAND the roof to be put on until the f@#$king WALLS are built.... -

Personnaly 2hrs cycle seems a good idea, or should servers get control of it they could run a couple to test the water, see how popular they are, I for ine would like to experience day to sunset to moonlight all in one go, maybe have (once spawning is properly implemented) have the brain stealers go nuts as the sun sinks to darkness, yeah I I like that thought 'happy hour' for zombies. -

I think its who runs the servers maybe your problem I had to try 3 after a restart to 'be the guy who I was' then had no other mass issues, rubberbanding seems cured, overall good progress i think and just saying, as an electrician when we get faulty circuits it takes time to fix, sometimes you get it all working first go sometimes you dont, its trial and error, just because it aint fixed dont mean that somones not hammering away at it as we speak. Ps, Berret's are awsome. (Might not have spelt it right though) ;) -

2.5 hours on the new patch, smooth obly one instance of zombie not using door, like the shotgun though is the speed loader to be kept in inventory until you shoot 2 bullets? One small glitch still bugs me is the right armpit showing through t shirt. Fps stabe at 43-42 out 23-28 in citys, and Iit be nice if guy 200km away wasnt heard stacking bullets, drank too much pipsi, o and some moonlight/ambient lighting would be good on night servers and just a thought but how about duct taping a torch to your shotty :) thats my 2 beans worth for now, peace out. Edit: with a full inventory I could make multiple splints without losing any items. Said splints spawned on the floor next to me -

Just because they haven't put in log timers and other issues doesn't mean someone's not working on it as we speak, it just means its not fixed to a standard they want it to be at. Consider a large new house with decorative windows that looks beautiful from the outside, just because it looks great doesn't mean the interior is fully finished and up to the same standard as the outside. Please take 5 minutes to think about your posts and what you wish to say as without considering this you just sound unintelligent. Nuff said, carry on. -

The client desperately needs server hopping sorted, weirdos with no lives pin you in a building and spawn there mates in your location, armaggedon server being popular for it -
urm star citzen? O yeah thats a fully playable game now ? LOL you get to walk around a hanger for your money with no game to play, Rocket said dont buy the game until full relase to avoid disappointment unless your committed to th full alpha process. You should have spent your pocket money on more beans.

I find it interesting that Rocket clearly stated that he advised only those prepared to wait a long time for the full and finished game, and that if your not prepared to play a very early stage development then dont buy it. His words, not mine. So why is everyone expecting it to ve finished now with more 'this' and 'fix that right now' , alot of you need to pay attention to what your saying imho.
