I'm my part of the world (China) 90% of the public servers will kick right after joining in. It has become a real plague and I'm slowly losing interest in the game. Server Names even announce it in "romanized pin-yin"... How to report the pricks? Red

Didn't spawn there I presume. Someone probably "lost" it after dropping it to drink or refill a bottle while carryiing a primary rifle. All been through this DayZ moment ;) Greeeeeeed Never seen upside down handguard, but did get a semi invisible AK before. Dropping it and picking up a few times fixed it if I recall. Red

Excellent advise above. I've generally had pretty bad luck with interaction, but never really minded the outcome. Part of what makes DayZ more interesting than other games actually :-) However, I quickly discovered that hiding your most sought-after gear in a safe place before making contact makes a huge difference ! It takes the anxiety away. If you die, you can always rush back to pick your gear up. Most of the time, it's still there. And there is less incentive to kill you if your gear is average. Certainly not 100% foolproof, but a great exercise in learning what works and doesn't while in contact. Some will call it it chickening out, I don't. Red -
