So in the road map, Dean said he wanted to give the player the option to customize their vehicles, he started talking about batteries and shit, but what popped up in my head was this and Now obviously, acheiving exactly that is not likely at all, but I hope we have quite a few options besides literally just finding parts to make the car run. and this is a suggestion, if anyone is questioning the place this thread should be

They're not invisible. It's because of the rubberbanding. The server is saying your in a certain spot and the client is saying your in a different spot(which is what is causing the rubberbanding). The "invisible" zombies that are hitting you are wailing on where the server is saying you're located and it is doing damage to you. -

I noticed sometimes the pistol flashlight doesnt work. Sometimes I'll attach a battery and turn it on, but nothing happens and it gives me the option to turn it off. It doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes. Right now, or example, rummaging through the night looking for a pistol flashlight, just found one, popped the battery in, popped the light on the pistol, clicked turn on in inventory and.....nothing happens, but it gives me the option to turn it off. Anyone have any tips? tricks?

I was playing with a clan member today in elektro, he came into the building I was in to get ammo i dropped for him.....I saw the door open and close, but not the player, I asked him to punch me once, he did and I got hit. I dropped the ammo, he picked it up, I saw the door open then shut again. So he was obviously invisible, not to the rest of the clan, but just to me. About 5 minutes before he came into the house, I saw him on top of the police station. Sooooo, the invis bug is still there?

no, they both go down. The servers that show on the list arent connected to the main hive, so problems happen until maintenance is complete. It's kind of been stated a lot -

lol, thats true. I seem to get more annoyed by the deaths on PB. Dying to desync or a ladder or whatever sucks, but dying to someone who sprinted past you and magically slapped duct tape around your hands then hatchet'd you is probably the most frustrating and unrealistic way to die. Sorry, little venting there. -

PB sucks balls right now. There are some things about it that is nice, but there are many broken systems. The hostage system for example is retarded. People can just run past you can somehow wrapped your hands in duct tape. Theres no animation time for it. There are literally a bunch of hunters that stalk people and then run around them like fucking idiots spamming the hostage key, without even taking out their weapon, and then they hatchet you to death. The game has less problems with server and engine etc, but some of the systems they use are retarded. Its also really weird getting all your loot from boxes, like everyone had a chance to pack up their stuff when the apocalypse happened. -
So, I love how much better the game looks and is performing, but.. I've noticed while sniping, I don't actually see the bullet land or hit, so I don't know if or how I should correct my aim. I've also noticed some food items being reusable after they should be empty, like soda. I've gone from thirsty to hydrated and stuffed from just drinking out of the same can over and over again. Not a bug I mind, but... You guys might already know this, but we cant craft arrows to shoot, so there's not really much use in crafting a bow right now. Although flashlights on M4's work, I haven't been able to turn on my pistol flashlight. Some of the scopes on the crossbow aren't calibrated right, which makes aiming with it very confusing. Had a red dot on one and was aiming at a zombies chest about 10 feet away and the bolt kept flying over his head. Can't throw the sickle, it just floats in the air forever.

So, I know the stables are back online, but I heard the experimentals weren't. I logged in and saw a couple experimentals with a different version number. Mine is .44.116358 and these were experimentals version .44.123800. They said accel time, but theres like, durango at the end of one, and springfield at the other. The time says etm24.000000. Could this be a new experimental build they're updating right now and havent announced? I cant connect to them

I have also heard rocks are considered two handed objects which can't be thrown right now. Give it some time man, they'll get all of that working. I would mostly like to use throwing things as a way to distract people, or trick them into turning there attention where I am not, but I wont be able to do that for a while

My understanding is that only throwable objects collide with static objects(like walls) at the moment. They just go right through players.

There are definitely cheaters and most of them show up when new updates come out. I actually addressed this with the last patch and was contacted within a couple hours by a BE guy asking for more info on the cheat I witnessed. BE is definitely cracking down on cheaters dude, but there will always be hackers in games, its just how it is. It is probably easier to hack into the game right now than it will be once the game is finished and better written code is in the game, until then, let the little sore losers have their cheats, they'll get bored at some point and they'll keep having to buy copies and create new accounts and shit. -
