I try to talk to people, but I have a bubble. If you violate my bubble you will be respawned. I don't think this makes me a bandit just b\c I kill someone that runs at me yelling friendly, but I know ppl who would.

So was playing this morning with the usual lag, low fps, and high dsync. Was getting yelled at by my team to not go running off into the field, when I was just standing next to them, that kinda thing. Then all the servers went down for maint, and when they came back up I was in heaven. Swimming in butter, with skies filled with Angel milk. I know for at least me now, this is a whole new game. My fps are through the roof I have little to no lag, and rarely dsync. just wondering if there is anymore love out there for the hot fix today?

They hotfixed a patch this morning to improve server connection, made a huge difference for me.

What he means is try to limit how much of you other people may be able to see in easily defensible areas. I.e stay in cover. Walk in crouch next to walls, scan elevated area where snipers hide, and don't walk on roads.

I think what eventually will happen, and this hasn't been confirmed in any way, is that: 1) current map will get bigger, I.e. The northern areas. 2) more maps will be released. First point because when vehicles are released the map will definitely feel smaller no matter what. Second point I believe will fix some of what people don't want to see in the current map. Current map is largely rural and would ridiculous to find lots of military grade equipment and vehicles, however a different map, say city environment for example, would make more sense. 2sense

Actually, street lights are everywhere on night servers, Polana has a few and the city outside of NEAF has quite a few.

I used to have this problem on win7. When I plugged my headphones in I would only hear ts3. Go into control panel, go to sound and set your speakers to default. It will still play in headphones but will also play sound.

I have a little over 60hrs in game, having said that, I never have a problem finding food or water. What a lot of new players underestimate is the sheer size of the map. It is truly huge. Most players beginnings are much alike. When you hear ppl say head north, they mean start trucking and don't stop. It will take over an hour at full sprint to hit the other side. Along the way fill up on water, doesn't have to be the spigot, go into a pond and move around until it says drink. Only loot colored 2 story houses, brown and black houses rarely have anything good. When passing through a town, no zeds or open doors, don't stop already looted. anyways, that should get you started.

Unfortunately the coast spawn areas are team death match ATM. To find nicer ppl get of the coast and head North. No one talks down there with a few exceptions. I find only people that want to use you as target practice, take your loot, or run away scared because of said banditry. Having said that cautious aggression will keep you alive. Keep a weapon out, and stay close to cover when meeting people. Don't say "friendly", as it way overused to draw people in to kill them. If someone is talking to you and doesn't lower their weapon, stay in cover, and if they lower theirs, do the same. Above all trust no-one
