There are 2 modes now. Hardcore and Regular. On Hardcore you start as fresh spawn, on Regular you get the old one. If you want to hop to another server do it on a Regular one to keep your character intact.

Unfortunately even the first bullet of all guns isn't accurate like it should be and spray pattern is completely random. CS 1.6 recoil pattern and general gun behaviour is a good model to be followed in DayZ.

I really like the pistol flashlight addition. Very handy. :thumbsup: Also the new .45 suppressor is cool but it doesn't work properly just like the M4's. Btw, M4 has become extremely rare now and I think it's very bad because this will encourage even more a camping gameplay approach. @Devs Consider increasing M4's loot rate a bit, pls.

Welp, I started this topic to comment the changes that I am concerned not a full review of the update. So, you buddies are the ones who missed much. Deal with it. ;) Gotta agree with Clint:

They decreased M4 loot spawns and yet you can find a ton of 56mm magazines. Nice logic. This makes automatically M4 overpowered, especially for group players. Was a hit in the nuts for solo players this update.

Hello, 1.What's the purpose of a spraycan and how can I use it? 2.Does a weapon cleaning kit improve a weapon part e.g. from "Damaged" to "Worn"? 3.Hacksaw? Should I keep it or it's a waste of storage capacity? Thanks in advance for your help.

You did nothing wrong. Once you got a vest you can't combine it with the holster. -
I like beans. Yep, that's why I play DayZ 'cause like fkn beans. Plus I like their gassy side effect.
