Hi, Im noticing some stuttering every minute or so to the point where the game freezes at a few seconds at a time. I have a 1080 GTX card and am surprised that this is happening at all. Other games like, Wildlands Seige Miscreated all work without the stuttering happening. Any ideas? I see that Dayz streamers such as Deadlyslob and such are not experiencing this stuttering which means it must be my machine. Thanks in advance

If you play this game enough you'll work out where to put tents/barrels - where most people don't bother to go. In my many cross country endeavours, I've often thought "that's a good place for a barrel" - Just put them there and things will be sweet!

yep I know that's what most players think when they see double carrying. I move slow and almost always play lone wolf so most of the time, I see them before they see me.

I carry my Winchester on my shoulder and my akm in my hands. Both have ghilly wrap painted to match my ghilly suit.

I wander the northern region and take pot shots at people from usually 400-600m. That ususally gets them on theie way. Or gets them mad and they try hunt me down. But Im ghillied to the max and that shit aint gonna happen.

I've played DayZ since the mod and still get a rush out of it today. I don't get as freaked out by other players as I once but still love the paranoia that comes over me from time to time and the senses that go up when another player is nearby or at least you think is. I'm only on this forum right now because I cant get on a server to have 'fun' - I have had a couple of breaks throughout playing Dayz with other games. I recommend getting into another type of game that is far removed from the DayZ style and you'll always want to come back. If that doesn't work, watch the Walking Dead series, it always gets me in the mood!

Haven't seen an SVD in game yet and probably wont for a long time due to rarity. However, I did lay my hands on a Winchester for a short time before being killed and ZI liked it although the recoil was immense. So after spawning I decided to go looking for the Winchester again but could only find Blazers everywhere so I got used to it. I liked the Blaze but still kept looking for another Winchester in which I found. Got ghillie wrap on it and love it. Shame I'ts gonna be wiped very shortly but its fun looking for em. I prefer the Winchester for it's sound and magazine capacity over the Blaze.

If Dynamic Heli spawns are back Ill be on the hunt for those to get me an SVD

problem with this game at the moment is theres so much lag and shit going on ya cant tell if its hacking or not! I saw hacking in the mod, not sure if the laggy crap ive seen in standalone is hacking at this stage

its something to do with the player's gear absorbing the damage apparently. I don't like it at all.

Last time I was in Berezino it was the gas station nearby that was clearly being shot up as it kept going up in a fireball.

I don't believe its hax as Ive seen my own son doing it and he sits on his PC nearby sometimes when we team up so I believe its just desync and it usually sorts out after a few seconds and or when that player changes weapons.
