me and a buddy found 2 at the same time on the same server in balota airfield. One in a hangar, the other in an ATC tower. the harder part is finding the ammo for it, i've only ever found one 20pack of the bullets.

I was along the lines of having some kind of reward/progression towards bettering your character or "Skillz" as some would say.. But I say fudge that, because like the dude above me said, it would turn every single player encounter even more standoffish than it already is which would honestly kill the entire idea of Dayz.

I really enjoyed state of decay.. right up until I bought DayZ :D

I'm currently just north of Vybor with severe blood loss, I could really use somebody to patch me up.. my in-game name, steam name, and skype name are all ColinFly. (I'm wearing tactical shirt, cargo pants, and UK assault vest - all green. And a Camo baseball cap) So if anybody in the area could help out I'd be extremely appreciative, just contact me by any means.

My steam and skype name are the same as my forum name, been playing for about 2 weeks now.. gettin quite better at most aspects of the game

In all honesty, they should keep it (at least for public servers, private hives should be a different for obvious reasons) because it sort of represents night/day time in terms of how many people you will come across on each server. That's the reason why you would want to travel by night in a RL situation if you were trying to avoid people..

those aren't the encounters that most people are looking for..

dude, why do you antagonize EVERY single person i see in these forums about how they play the damn game... it's seriously just a game, i think you might have a screw loose or something because you're really not as "hardcore" as you might think, man.

haha i appreciate the helpfulness everybody, a lot more welcoming than the people i've been encountering actually playing the game. So i'm just chillin in Vybor right now and would really appreciate a fellow survivor to come along and patch me up.
