I dunno about anyone else, but I get a buzz watching how a game develops and evolves into a finished product. I remember enjoying the whole process with Battlefield 3. I even tried out the BF4 beta as well. To each its own.

After 4 days I finally made my way over to Balota. I was warmly welcomed by a "Balota Airstrip Elite" who fired an assault rifle at me from almost point blank range.....and missed XD I stuck around St Petersberg until I felt it was a time for a change. I ran into a tent and there was a M4 waiting on the floor. I had already picked up some ammo for it, along with a Magnum. I decided to to get my feet wet, and went into the town nearby. Bagged 3 there, then ran along those marshland wooden walkways to the next town, where I smoked 5 more including a bitch I shot in mid air as she leaped to attack me. All in all a successful test of the new toys. Looking forward to ones the who fire back, and hunting down and killing Bandito's who shoot the new-spawns. That really gives me the shits when they do that. Ta for your time and cheers. Please excuse the poor quality, Windows 8 is a bastard and Paint wouldn't take a screen shot. Used my smartphone.

You get some wonderful encounters, specially on the weekends whilst people enjoy some "beverages". This one dude spotted me crouching down for a rest and look-around, and drunkenly said that he had a sniper rifle pointing directly at my head. He then introduced himself as a door to door salesman, and was I interested in purchasing a life insurance policy ? ......before I could say yes or no, he shot me in the head.

A little bit of BS can go a VERY long way. Survival has a very steep learning curve, that always results in death.

People have been shot for less.

Most of my encounters have been positive thus far. But always remember the golden rule : .......Not even cows.

The quickest way to die in DayZ is to play the game with a team deathmatch mentality. You will live far longer if you work together, not shoot on sight. I'm guessing that the majority of these 'Balota Airstrip Elite' are younger players who are missing the whole point of DayZ. Survival....not team deathmatch. Call of DayZ.

Only had the game 3 days but I can relate. Maybe the devs could put a hotel resort and casino at Balota airsrip, to keep the guns & ammo campers occupied while they wait for noobs to shoot. Balota airstrip = Guns & ammo bottleneck/team deathmatch.

More loot please. This is a game for people to enjoy, not for people who are trying out for the SAS. OR for people who get their jollies by fighting zombies semiconcious, wearing beanies and armed with fire extinguishers...or rotten bananas. Maybe you guys could help everyone out by introducing a "Profanity" weapon. Using bad language at the zombies ? DayZ weapons training : Anyone else remember why Easy, Medium and Hard were invented ?
