How many FPS do you want in a city?

UK servers - lost my character (unable to load character database error) i joined a German server by accident and my character is loaded! is there any way of synchronising my players data in UK servers ? they are both hardcore servers. cheers guys.

so i played on the german server for 2hrs or so and the server re-set, and now i'm able to join uk servers again with my geared character. Something must have re-sync'd - so if anyone has this issue where you spawn with a fresh character , join a german server and you may end up keeping your gear! :)

Can you share what specifically has been updated so we can see/hear/feel the difference and maybe provide some feedback?

i know what this guy is saying, sometimes you can run around upto an hour on a 40 populated server and not see anyone.

for the extra load / stress / heat on the cards i can just run the 1 x 280x and get an identical performance. Shame!

**Update** the memory change had no impact at all. HOWEVER... i have since changed these video settings: TexturesVideo Memory : Auto Texture Detail :Very High Texture Filter : Very High.Quality: Objects Very High Terrain: Very High Rendering - AA -Very High FXAA : Very High & all Trees + Grass Now the cards are running @ 80% load @ 27 - 30FPS in this view: [image scaled down from 5760 x 1080] So essentially i can't increase the FPS in the game, i can however make the game look stunning ! albeit temps on 1 card went to 74 degrees which is perfectly acceptable. Overall the conclusion is that CrossfireX does not add any FPS difference to the game currently using the Arma 2 profile.

i'm not using SLI mate, its CrossfireX - it's working now. Here's the screenshot. so both GPU's are running @ 30% resulting in 35-40 fps. I've done some testing based on the following settings across 2 different resolutions in the same spawn looking into a town. Textures Video Memory : Auto Texture Detail : High Texture Filter : High. Quality: Objects High Terrain: High Clouds : V Low Shadows : V Low Rendering - all disabled HDR: V low. Vsync OFF Results @ 1920 x 1080 (1 monitor) GPU1+2 : 28 - 30% Load. 35FPS -/+ Results @ 5760 x 1080 (3 monitors in eyefinity) GPU1+2 : 41% Load. 27 FPS. -/+ There's 8FPS difference when running 2 additional monitors. Next i'm going to edit the DayZ config localvram amount to 3gig to see if that helps at all, watch this space.

Hi All, i run 2 x R9 280x's over 3 x 24" pannels @ 5760 x 1080 Can i hell get CrossfireX working ! :) - happy for those who have congrats! i've tried the ArmaA2OA.exe profile without success. Any other ideas? also whats that programme which shows the GPU load? thanks.

One of my team mates played all day but on 2 occasions on hardcore server's he logged out , ate, came back logged in and his character fresh spawned. - no error messages whatsoever , forgive me for raising this if it has already, is anyone else experiencing this ? cheers.

it's happened again today there was only 3 of us in a server, we quit to join a high pop server, everyone spawned in ok, except for him who spawned a 'new spawn' ?

In order to provide feedback during alpha stage the game needs to be 'playable' i hope they address this issue as a priority because i can only play for 5 mins before my FPS drop to 5 from 60 and inevitably leads to a crash.

my FPS drop under 'other stuff' - as in constantly irrespective of location. sometime i spawn with 3 green healthy , energized etc... and says im starving... wonder if these things are related.
