    when a player with a gun sees another player without a gun or the clothing/gear to conceal one he/she is faced with three options: 1. let them pass 2. interact with them in friendly or dickish way 3. shoot them immediately most people camping a bush or a vantage point on the coast for an hour or two are some bored motherf*ckers which do you think they decide on when bambi hops into the clearing?

    it's more the lack of anything ELSE TO DO besides KOS people who "are above that" kind of playstyle or kind it going against the game's "vision" are pretencious asshats. getting shot in the face after hours of grinding is rage inducing, i know. this isnt supposed to be a race to gear race to hotspot and start deathmatching kinda game. but i can deal with it, just like the people i get the drop on and either KOS for lolz or to survive HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT if you cant handle the dayz... find another game to play i say to KOS whiners:

    thank you for testing exp'ers. i cant patch to exp right now as my internets are too slow to keep stable with steam for dowloading. can we get a thrown-together changelog? so far: ruger 10/22 rain/weather inprovemetns clothes become soaked/damp from rain broken arms policestation/jails and clinics now in staroye and elektro berries in inventory eat all food option sound change for fist combat anything else i missed?

    i lone worlf mostly as only one of my online friends plays dayz this early. i had a broken leg in elektro, harcore server, for what must have been 5 hours. LOOKING FOR WOODEN STICKS TO MAKE A SPLINT. server restart helped me find a morphine later in the hosptial, but damn, i was crawling shitting bricks through death town and couldnt get help from anyone or i'd have been kos'd. ... i think we friendly lone wolfs need a sign or a password or something in case we do meet up and have to work together.... i could have used a friendly to help me mend my leg this morning....

    YES. YES CANIBALISM SHOULD BE IN THE GAME. Even a watered-down fallout-esq "Strange Meat" looted off player corpses would satisfy me. I wanna keep the KOS kids fed and happy

    why do books exist in game? as filler loot. as inventory junk to troll the person looting your corpse. to read in game by equipping. to hold prestine copies of rare books for respect. to be a loot hoarder. and finally... I read the red badge of courage in school, and a prestine copy of that is always on one of my characters if I can help it. It's a book i'd actually read at the end of the world and it's immersive to the player. but im probably just gonna hoard them and host a book club RP server

    In case no one has said it before... You can fix the "too dark" issue in dayz by TURNING POSTPROCESSING AND HDR ON. also have some shadows and clouds. then adjust the game brightness from legit to gamma exploiting. enjoy!

    massive props to you rhodes. this is the kind of thread we need. i voted yes to headshots by firearms and yes to brain kills only. but since "ROCKET'S VISION IS AT STAKE@@11!" sigh. whatevs. infected humans then. an actual "zombie mode" with shuffling, moaning, decaying, flesh eating, gotta-shoot-em-in-the-head-type zeds would be epic. truly epic. day is one of the best. but i'm a dawn fan meself. operator dead, post abandoned...

    also, as my sig suggests... i hope zeds are plentiful and have an assortment of ai's and pathing. slow ones, fast ones fresh ones, old ones! and lots. and lots. and lots. of. zeds. on. screen. at. once. *sighs as i remember zeds piling up and being lootable...* what are the rumors of the pathing updates? what are they doing to my zomabies!?

    ty. beans. after fps stuttering is fixed i will find it much more playable. rain sounds, timing, clipping through walls and affecting clothes are next on my wishlist. i wonder if the desync will fix loot drop from inventory times... and the 100 pop servers will have a tough time. i expect 2hr min restarts to keep up with looting and the load of that many players.

    why is loot not full random? because an sks, rice, oranges, rotten fruit, axes, weapon flashlights, loose bullets and hunting pants SHOULD NOT BE ITEMS COMMONLY FOUND IN A SCHOOL. but i always find a gun in the school/office 3 story building. wtf? guns in military barracks and police stations? maybe in a house? ok. realistic. fire axes in firestations? ok. magnums and ballstic vests and ammo in firestations? umm nope.

    FIXED LOOT MEANS LOOT SPAWN CAMPING/FARMING/HOPPING. same as now. random loot spawns are kinda wtf. so i say no. dynamic loot spawns could be cool, like helicoper crashes from the mod or maybe an overturned truck with suppiles? maybe they appear at different places and depend on a variable fixed to the server setting?

    i want loot like a firefighters axe to only spawn in firestations. i want food to ONLY spawn in pubs, homes and supermarkets. i want medical to only spawn in hospitals and the clinic building. i want weapons to NEVER spawn in an office building, school, hotel, warehouse, farm, barn, ect ect ect i want realistic loot spawns but whatever man. alpha?

    100 people servers and zombie pathing? questions: are zed's still able to clip through walls? see you through walls? see you from 500+m and sprint to you directly? 100 players servers.... have they got a fix for fps drop and desync yet? gotta fix fps/desync before 100+ is possible or CRRRASSHHHHHHHH LAG UNTIL DEATH
