negative? i am stating facts here, people. I have played every BI game. Op Flashpoint and it was downhill from there. Rocket has to get his script approved, otherwise it's this "arma-verse garbage" that we have to deal with.

any storyline "written" "produced" "edited" and "approved" by BI will be garbage. just let us play the game for the broken sandbox it is. if you want some kind of pve questline... this game is not for you.

at first, I was against the idea of modders "finishing" dayZ, like Dean Hall and the Dev Blogs have hinted at. these days, especially after re-playing modded games like Arma2/3 and Skyrim/Fallout... when i played the mod there were tons of servers, public and private that only ran vanilla. today, i honestly don't know what it's like. private hives are fun to play on. modded servers are fun to play on. they aren't going anywhere. you can pay for a vanilla server, form a vanilla only clan and only play public hive servers. TL;DR
